  1. thats absolutely quality! it must've felt like you were in an action film blasting away at that lot
  2. nice one davy, i was just trawling the archives looking for this very article
  3. i used to occasionally shoot my mates webley stingray, really nice gun. my mate pulled off some world class shots just using the ironsights on it! good luck with yours mate.
  4. .22. very good condition. only used once in changing rooms and as such had only 1 pellet through it. one numpty owner from new, career forces reluctant sale. genuine offers only.
  5. i had a richter 3-9x40 opik scope on my first rifle, which was a chinese tx200 copy and it were sound, never got knocked out or owt like that, and my mate had one the same on his smk that he'd done summat stupid to and it handled the recoil on that fine. 50 quid and it had mil-dots, you cant go wrong. they even do some scopes that have like a realtree-like camo design on them nowadays I'd buy some again. i've never owned any hawkes so i cant really comment on them. i know a lot of people swear by them though and id imagine them to be a bit better than the richters.
  6. jealous as fk mate, nice one. Just go easy on those endangered crows this time!
  7. that something i would LOVE to do, but unfortunately funds don't allow it at the moment. one of the not so exotic u.k equivalents may be on the cards for me this year though.
  8. I love it! spa for not pi***ng yourself in his face! the ignorant thicko.
  9. my first rifle got nicked by burgling cts, and that was the second time i've been burgled. i've often thought that using "resonable force" with say, a blunt weapon, is all well and good if your'e only being burgled by one person, and wondered about the legality of getting the old multi-shot out if theres more than one of them. i just hope i'm in if they ever try it again
  10. washed and lubed .22 crosman premier through my falcon PF18, and used to use rws hollow points through my old .177 TX200. I'm gonna give the falcon accuracy plus a try though.
  11. http://www.(!64.56:886/pages/The-Hunting-Life/141040409278625 There!
  12. i just typed it into the search on facebook and there it was!
  13. if anyone wants to try and gather info on me from my facebook account good luck to them cos its all bo***cks! fake name, no address blah blah blah, just hunting photo's and p*ss taking photoshop projects!
  14. welcome to forum pal. good luck getting somewhere to shoot.
  15. only 38 likers of The Hunting LIfe facebook page! come on chaps
  16. if theres a ton of ground level obstructions i'd get prone on the roof of the allotment shed for a nice vantage point! my girlfriends got an allotment that i'm praying has a rat/rabbit problem but as we got it just as winter started and all the ground froze over i've not really been down to suss it out yet. how bigs the allotment? i mostly shoot with a mate but we stick to the same route all the time so we know where each other are all the time anyway. maybe a pair of cheap walkie talkies would help if you have a large area to roam around.
  17. well done mate, and respect for eating your spoils. i've got probably 8 pigeon breasts in my freezer just waiting for a nice recipe. all the ones i've cooked so far have been over done and a bit rubbery so i've definately got some room for culinary improvement yet!
  18. handy tip. if you have access to a scanner, scan your paper target, then re-size it using photoshop or whatever, then print 4 or 6 of them onto a sheet of A4 paper. i use old letters, junk mail etc so now i'll never run out of targets.
  19. looks like you live in the woods mate! i've got that very same sas survival book! let us know how you get on with the aa fields, im currently using crosman premiers, which im told are the same pellets as accupells but under a different name, but i've scrounged a handful of aa fields and some bisley magnums to try through my rifle when they run out.
  20. excellent bag and pics mate, jealous as !!
  21. im sure there are others on ere that'll also tell you. the .177 TX is a very accurate gun. was a bit too heavy for me personally but if you can carry it you'll love it congrats on the bunny, iv'e only seen one this year!
  22. i've got a mate with some sort of weihrauch that he doesn't use or care about so i might be in the running for a bit of a bargain soon! i also know a guy that has a sharp innova that doesnt use it and i'd love to have that off him for mates rates also. congrats on the deal if all goes well mate, you can't beat a bargain
