    went out with a friend on his permission,i didnt have any collars and one of my jills went missing,luckily the lad i was with had a ferret with a collar on,he put his in,mine came out ten mins later,ended up digging 5 ft....ordered my self a locator and two collars the next day!! would of been gutted if i'd lost one of mine.

    Just like to let everyone know,that 'dodgy' little ferret i got,is now lovely to handle,she's settled in and im looking forward to working her......thanks for the advice!!!....ive just aquired a very big hob...bought new cage this time..he gets over exited when out and has a tendencey to bite...im hopeing to bring him on any advice would help thanks...would putting jills in with him calm him??

    a bit constructive advice!!!,but the arrogance just seems to ooze from alot of members on here,they need to remember some people are new to this!!! But im sure when ive been around for a while and life has made me bitter and twisted,i can ridicule people to!!!!

    Just curious to know if you can control the growth of young ferrets,by increasing food amounts for larger or decreasing for smaller,hence if i wanted smaller jills for work,cud i keep them small...i'd appreciate any imput thankyou..!!

    Just been to some auctions for some hens,saw a few polecat jills for sale,nice small ones,so decided to bid on one and got her,i removed her from her box and put her in with my jills,she ran straight to the nest box,i put this down to a tireing day.next day i wanted to clean out the cage so i always let the ferrets run around my yard freely,however my newly aquired jill didnt come out,so i removed her and put her down,her tail was bushed right up and she just kept running from me,what i need to know is,will i get her trust?is it because she's new to me?or has she just never been handled?in wic
