  3. Anyone been cod bashing on the Bristol channel or the Tamar this year, have not had time to have a look see, wondering if the mild weather or the amount of fresh water going into them would have a knock on effect on the fishing this year, someone told me they both fished well for bass in 06.

  18. Seen advertised 2 dvds on longnetting and rabbit control by Ed Cook and Mick Mansbridge, they look proffesionally done, anybody seen them, or know anything about them, i dont like parting with 25 quid a dvd if they arent worth it, any feedback would be appreciated.
  19. i live a couple of miles from him,pop in there now and again for bits and pieces hes a straight enough bloke youll be alright.
  20. Nice result, Sold my 17 recently same model as yours, lovely gun but needed space in the cabinets 22 did one thing, 22-250 did the next and really had to make some space, otherwise it would still be there. Got to admit though there is still a space on my ticket, maybe i should consider buying another cabinet!
  21. Have chameau wellies but have only otherwise had brasher boots, the stuff they produce for their leather boots is excellent, it helps to proof and doesnt make the leather weak by over softening, presume it would do the same for other leathers. Costs about £5 but cant recommend it highly enough. PS no I am not on commission
  22. HI fERRET,great to hear you and your mate had a great day, sorry to be a bore though, but had to mention my concern about shooting rabbits in holes with your ferrets on their backs, i now only use white ferrets on rabbit jobs because the farmer always wants to have a pop,at least this gives my ferrets the slimmest of chances of being spotted behind the rabbit. Rabbits must be left until they are clear of the holes when shooting. wishing you great sport in 2007.
  23. hi there look forwards to hearing what you have to say. :welcomeani: :thumbs-up: :welcomeani:
