    The last two days we've had fifty plus on the wires crossing our land. Remember vividly when we still had the last farm in west Wales watching them migrate all day long while we were laying a hedge.

    Drop of this tonight to wash down a steak and mushroom pie I made for us. This was given to me buy a customer/good Friend who was a wine importer, apparently its an extremely good one, but past its best, so gave it to me as "I will drink anything " ? he's a proper old character. Anyway it's very nice once I had decanted it off half inch of sludge.

    Thank goodness you didn't waste it. I used to look after a deer herd on a holiday site, they gad petting sheep etc. When one got lame or prolapsed too often I was asked to despatch and bury, we always ate them and thoroughly enjoyed.

    Thats us too! Everyone says oh this is gorgeous you are so lucky, yeah come here the other six months. You are doing a grand job there. Ours was a wilderness, it is now worth the money and graft, yours is coming along nicely.

    I've just had to pop into town, there were literally only a few people not wearing a mask.
