  1. Brookies ramblings, sound remarkebly like that of another self opinionated, self professed excpert who was on here spouting off the other week about his knowledge regarding all things running dogs, or could they be the same fountain of knowledge. Eitherway same old thing no grounds to base his opinion on just drivvle, if it isnt factual it isnt worth listening to.
  2. Brookie you prove my case perfectly, bah bah now go back and join the flock. ,nice one ditch, glad to see that your on the ball. , moorman 1 , please except my humble apologies for getting the wrong end of the stick. . Think we can deduce from this so far that you are either open minded enough to realise its what you are capable of doing with the pup that counts OR your the tunnel visioned numb nut that has never tried one just spews out crap about them because you probably havent got a clue about dogs in general, There is nothing wrong with having an opinion just make it an informed one,
  3. Know its a bit of a long winded old subject chalkwarren, thing is i am not defending the bloke or his reason for churning the dogs out, its purely the blinkered views of people bordering on hancock histeria that p..s me off. Hancock owners are like a secret organisation, never daring to mention THAT name that shell never be spoken for fear of fire and brimstone raining down upon them. Its rediculous, if the pup is given the stimulation, good quality food ,exercise, proper training etc same as any other cross, the dog will preform, as i said earlier you only get out what you put in.
  4. Tote, both mine were bought at eight weeks, very outgoing gregarious dogs, love to meet people and dogs alike. Think the old saying you can only take out what you put in is very valid with dogs. JDF, fair comment, just a shame a messer had it first, not really a fair trial, but at least you have an open mind on the matter. :thumbs-up:
  5. Furry ferreter, you obviously have a strong opinion on this as you felt it needed two replies, So you have obviously owned one and found it to be lacking in some way, please enlighten us on what the fault was with it. . Or could it be you are another follow the crowd, but has no first hand knowledge on the subject but still feel entitled to rubbish something youve never tried, please oh please let it be the former. Moorman 1, you should have read the thread, i am not bashing them , quite the contrary.
  6. Today again we have a prime example of the phobic drivvle that a section of the running dog community come out with, World.hunters asks a question about merle breeding, then its open season on Hancock dogs why dont you lot change the bloody record. Yes his place is a tip, no he does not work his dogs much, yes he is a puppy farmer. How many of you Hancock haters have ever owned one, not many of you who have will admit it if you have, why because to fit in you have to slag them off. Pathetic . The usual drivvle srarts with they cant catch a hare, bulls..t even my half cross can, but no not unde
  7. hey pilgrim fair shout, eat every one you have caught, i just went through my records for the last twelve months, i worked it out that i would have to eat 9.75 rabbits every day of the year. i just dont think i am man enough for that. . Before anyone starts on about bragging, i just thought it would be funny to work out. All of mine are now sold, but we still keep a few for us and the dogs, and not forgetting the ferrets of course.
  8. ly, type in bushwear on ebay search, youll find something there i am pretty sure.
  9. THE VET, always a good place to try for animal health issues.
  10. This never ceases to amaze me, the amount of people who will not eat game. Iam mates with two keepers both of which have wives who will only eat out of a supermarket. My first misses (bitch) would say your not getting me or the kids to each that rubbish, its disgusting.
  11. sean that sounds like wishfull thinking, but you sure wouldnt find me complaining. :thumbs-up:
  12. OH SHIT, i,ve started them off again, please forgive me mods it wasnt intentional.
  13. no but yes seriously they are all gibberish fuelled by drugs self abuse and alchol, one of those may not be true.
  14. Thanks for that stabs, this is one time im glad to be wrong.
  15. First off i have no problem with text talk being banned, however what i am a little worried about is that two pm,s i was sent yesterday were censored because they contained text presumably, now i presume this cannot be done mechanicly, so does this mean everyones PERSONAL messages are being read, because thats what i was led to believe PM meant, if this is the case i for one would not be very chuffed. Could someone please clarify this for me.
  16. have my own pest control business, mainly moles, rabbits and wasps oh and for a little variety hornets. Actually qualified in advanced management for care, which means i used to run care homes for people with learning diss etc, but finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel which had needed a bulb changing for ten years.
  17. take my two lurchers all the time, several terriers used on the two shoots i go to, funny thing is mine can be a bit quick so if there are a lot of birds or its early in the season i hold them back, once the springers and labs have done their bit the keeper says release the hounds, at which point my two go and. : put up all the birds the pros missed
  18. Anyone found a cheap place to buy genuine Fenn mk 6 traps, or does anyone know if its possible to buy them direct from the manafacturer,i am looking for about twenty or thirty, any ideas please.
  19. one year i was up at the midland and decided to treat my self to a theoben fenman profile, a whitetail classic 3 to 9 50 load of pellets etc, walked away and thought that was less painfull than i thought it was going to be, then realised they had in there rush to get money off the next customer forgot to take for the scope, saving £199.99. Tried to find the stall to tell them of their mistake but could not find it.
  20. Just been looking through a new trap building book that john b is selling, very interesting for anyone interested in making both primitive and modern traps, very clear drawings, origionaly aimed at the american market, with some different target species but definetly easily adapted to our own, or a pleasent enough little book just to flick through. Worth a look for anyone interested in this sort of thing. :thumbs-up:
  21. markbrick 1, what do you mean if all the lancashire people were to come down,do you mean theres more.
  22. First the law should never have dropped the age to sixteen, at that age your a child you cannot surely be able to make informed decisions, who pushed that one forward, bet it wasnt sixteen year olds, it was older gays who didnt want to get locked up for kiddy fiddling. As for gays adopting whether it be male or female couples it just isnt right, all ranting aside, the kids life would be hell on earth, if there were such a thing as the day of judgement, that day blair is going to have some serious digging to do.
  23. dougie s410k, i think you and me are talking about the same bloke now you say he is a big headed twat, does he sell scollops as well, that he dives for, if you read this could you get back to me cheers.
