  1. I would have been very interested, but i would be to worried to send a cheque as you may not send the net. The only way i could be sure would be a face to face transaction, alas its to far to go. So wont be able buy it from you, The reason i wouldnt send a cheque is i have read what you have done in the past, Bloody shame looks like a nice net. Unless seeing as i have never had a slating on here you would trust me and send the net and then i will post the cheque.

  3. Please ditch dont see what hairy face said as a challenge, there are limits to what the human mind can take, and those feet were close enough.
  4. Hi Vmax, Dont know if it is relavant, but I have an escort semi and can feed it most lengths, but eley VIPs make it hicup some times, Think it is to do with the length of the brass in this one. You didnt say which brand or is it any 65mm?

its like a typical cornish summers eve down here, FREEZING AND PISSING DOWN.
  6. Dodger if they were cartridges in the picture, and not brass cases then it would still be unacceptable, as it is thankfully illegal to shoot deer with a shotgun.
  7. Take no notice of the BS, if you want a genuine border or beardie cross, Hancocks your man, what he says is what youll get, The pup would be as good or bad as your ability to train it.
  8. HANCOCK,without doubt everytime.
  9. Funny as fu.k, but seriously this has happened to me a lot, perticularly penzance b and q.
  10. FACT, i have one half cross border grey bitch, very fast as half crosses go, endless stamina, rediculously clever, easy to train, easy to live with, very gregarious. DOWNSIDES, sometimes on the lamp to powerfull, she over runs the rabbit, she cannot bare to be parted from me. NEXT, i have a 5 eighth 3 eighth beardie grey, eleven months old bitch, explosive take off, natural hunter from the day Hancock sold her to me, very usefull on ferreting jobs, always in the right place, again very clever, loves to meet people and dogs, even though she is still a pup the few times i have used her on the l
  11. Chaz, your wasting your breath ,they are incapable of thinking for themselves.
  12. Night shadow, nothing the bloke could do would ever change Hancock phobia, most of his critics have bugger all first hand knowledge of the dogs he breeds, they just spout off the same old crap they heard off their mates, as i showed on my thread on this issue other than about three people who put on factual responses all the negative response was totally regurgitated tripe. Dont like the blokes business accumen, pally with plummer, his yards a shithole, dont like his beard, etc infinitum, but still nothing that shows catagorically why the dogs themselves should be forever ridiculed.
  13. sorry whin, but what the f..k was that all about, i think i must have missed something in the translation.
  14. OTC, you appear to be missing the point, my whole argument is not that a Hancock is any better or any worse than all the ficticious pedigrees made up to flog pups in CMW etc, or any lurcher found in the pound although i think that may be stretching it a little, what i am saying is that if you by the cross thats aimed at your needs and mould it and nurture it like any other pup it will do its stuff the same as the rest. No it will not be crap because it has a breeders name attatched to it.
  15. 22-250 for me, winchester silvertips 55 grn, powerful medicine, through cheap ruger synthetic\ stainless.
  16. Brookies ramblings, sound remarkebly like that of another self opinionated, self professed excpert who was on here spouting off the other week about his knowledge regarding all things running dogs, or could they be the same fountain of knowledge. Eitherway same old thing no grounds to base his opinion on just drivvle, if it isnt factual it isnt worth listening to.
  17. Brookie you prove my case perfectly, bah bah now go back and join the flock. ,nice one ditch, glad to see that your on the ball. , moorman 1 , please except my humble apologies for getting the wrong end of the stick. . Think we can deduce from this so far that you are either open minded enough to realise its what you are capable of doing with the pup that counts OR your the tunnel visioned numb nut that has never tried one just spews out crap about them because you probably havent got a clue about dogs in general, There is nothing wrong with having an opinion just make it an informed one,
  18. Know its a bit of a long winded old subject chalkwarren, thing is i am not defending the bloke or his reason for churning the dogs out, its purely the blinkered views of people bordering on hancock histeria that p..s me off. Hancock owners are like a secret organisation, never daring to mention THAT name that shell never be spoken for fear of fire and brimstone raining down upon them. Its rediculous, if the pup is given the stimulation, good quality food ,exercise, proper training etc same as any other cross, the dog will preform, as i said earlier you only get out what you put in.
  19. Tote, both mine were bought at eight weeks, very outgoing gregarious dogs, love to meet people and dogs alike. Think the old saying you can only take out what you put in is very valid with dogs. JDF, fair comment, just a shame a messer had it first, not really a fair trial, but at least you have an open mind on the matter. :thumbs-up:
  20. Furry ferreter, you obviously have a strong opinion on this as you felt it needed two replies, So you have obviously owned one and found it to be lacking in some way, please enlighten us on what the fault was with it. . Or could it be you are another follow the crowd, but has no first hand knowledge on the subject but still feel entitled to rubbish something youve never tried, please oh please let it be the former. Moorman 1, you should have read the thread, i am not bashing them , quite the contrary.
  21. Today again we have a prime example of the phobic drivvle that a section of the running dog community come out with, World.hunters asks a question about merle breeding, then its open season on Hancock dogs why dont you lot change the bloody record. Yes his place is a tip, no he does not work his dogs much, yes he is a puppy farmer. How many of you Hancock haters have ever owned one, not many of you who have will admit it if you have, why because to fit in you have to slag them off. Pathetic . The usual drivvle srarts with they cant catch a hare, bulls..t even my half cross can, but no not unde
  22. hey pilgrim fair shout, eat every one you have caught, i just went through my records for the last twelve months, i worked it out that i would have to eat 9.75 rabbits every day of the year. i just dont think i am man enough for that. . Before anyone starts on about bragging, i just thought it would be funny to work out. All of mine are now sold, but we still keep a few for us and the dogs, and not forgetting the ferrets of course.
