One of my Deben packs that i use for all night jobs is the 17 amp hour, takes about 14 hours,ish, used it a couple of weeks ago, put it on charge in the trap shed and left it over night, remembered to take it off charge 4 days later. :whistle: , fingers crossed seems ok the couple of times i have used it since. Note to self, place batteries in a more prominent spot in shed, they may get noticed that way.

Evening Ditchy, just picked up this thread sounds like a good crack, one thing confuses me though, all the pictures so far are Rattus Norvegicus not as you mentioned earlier Rattus Rattus , if you guys are running around rearing pens , tips etc killing Rattus Rattus (Black rats) i think the ministry might like a word, Something to do with black death and plague , i know i am being pedantic, but according to a boring lecture i attended a short while ago Rattus Rattus is only found in a few places such as Bristol, Liverpool and London docks, and being very cloesly monitored. -
Stupid question , maybe, but why do you need treadmills, why dont you just roadwalk your greyhounds like the old days.

Mouse you say in your experience it is the norm for riflemen to leave injured foxes everywhere, can you please quantify such a sweeping statement, as in certain circles that could render you liable for slander and defemation of character. Hi JB, yes i can see pictures but i also see a lot of spaces marked IPB image and user posted image on a grey background. damned annoying it is.

You got that right snareman, i bought an eight kilo, made 475 rabbit wires so far and the reel still feels as heavy as the day the courier dropped it off. Mind you with how much it costs for a reel that size i am glad i will get about a thousand out of it. Was going to weather the first 250 before they go out ,but after reading what woodga said i am going to try and pluck up the courage and try them as they are. Could be interesting putting them head to head so to speak against the weathered ones that will be out. PS, would never doubt you woodga just saying i would never had the ba..s to t

user posted image. what the hell does this mean, you read a good thread, go to look at the accompanaying pictures and this is in the space. Please someone put me out of my misery and tell me how i can see the pictures, or is it like a MATRIX thing, read the code.

Anybody having trouble with mk 1 collars, having a bugger of a job with mine at the moment both new ones and older ones, i think it is down to batterys, can put in brand new ones straight from the pack and they wont work, put them in another they will, swap them again to the origional they might work. all terminals are bright and clean, sometimes how tight the caps are done up seems to make a difference. Hand units have new batteries and work well. Usually buy all the batteries from battery force because i get through so many, but have recently tried the ones deben reccomend still the same. Th

Who is the jammy bugger who has the rabbiting around the sutton scotney srvices, had to go up to east sussex a few days ago, on the way back got stuck in a traffic jam just before the junction for andover . The verges and fields were pickled with holes , and clear no brambles, blackthorn anything. All the rabbit jobs i have come in down here you need a chain mail suit to get anywhere near the buries. Something else i noticed moles working every other field once i got past dorset, down here they are only just starting to push,

OTC is right, if they dont say Fenn then they aint Fenn, those cheapos on flea bay have got shite springs, ok if you only want to use them once and then bin them.
