  1. Anything from a rabbit to a rhino.!!!!!!
  2. Course you can i had 4 on me tea last night ,i assume you dont do the food shopping in your house then You got that right, i am not aloud to shop, i am a compulsive buyer if i get let loose in one of those places.
  3. Just thought should add that GW was if i remember correctly refering to Springers lack of killing ability on mink which are apparently notorious to kill with a trap. Sorry if i mis quoted you Glenn.
  4. There has been a bit of discussion about Fenn verses Springer recently on here, Well i bought 75 springers off Ian Hodge a little over two months ago and they have been in the ground everyday since, (not the same holes). Snareman very kindly sent me a pm suggesting that i would be better off getting Fenn,s because of the springs having seven coils as opposed to Springers five etc, Unfortunatly i had already parted with my £520. Now then i say unfortunatly but to be fair at the moment i am very pleased with them, if set correctly they kill very well, big old bucks and little fryers alike. qui
  5. OH MY GOD SOCKS, you have just taken me back 30 years, fish finger sandwiches with proper butter and baked beans, messy but to die for. can you still get fish fingers,
  6. Bought a 6.5 x 55 Steyr pro hunter last autumn, BRILLIANT, does everything and then some. Honest foxy doesnt care what calibre you use, JUST MAKE SURE IT IS SAFE.
  7. Old man, pm me some more details about yourself, do you have insurance etc, i am a full time pesty based in cornwall but cover a much bigger area, i get offered a lot of rabbit clearance work. When i finish a job customers always want someone reliable to go in and keep numbers down aftewards, i may be able to put some very good ground your way depending on how far you are willing to travel etc.
  8. Chalky, very valid point there, i have recently picked up a couple of new contracts on caravan parks, so i decided to give the CCI 30 ft lbs 29 grn rimmys a go, so far terminal effect seems good, less ricochet factor only downside is they are solids, would have preferred hollows but their you go, oh and they are quite cheap. :thumbs-up:
  9. closer than you think, last i knew his gimp was living a stones throw from the lamb and flag opposite harry rams, with how close you are you could pop round for a chat over a cuppa.
  10. Stephen Harris, still crawling out from under his stone is he, he used to have under him a bloke called Baker who used to do all his leg work for him, he worked/works for bristol uni but is part funded by LACS, indoctrinating the next generation, sorry studying urban foxes, i used to employ his ex missus, complete fruit cake, but anyway i digress, she used to tell me all the stuff these pair of idiots got up to, the best bit was though they wanted to catch a fox to put a tracker on, they couldnt even catch a stupid towny one, his missus mentioned to him that i was of a country background and
  11. Escort cant fault, really pleased with, Just wish i could say the same about T8,s. Bought two was very pleased at first but even with what became bordering on fanatical cleaning regime they rusted at the end, then one night out fired at a fox and my mate commented about almost losing his eye, The bloody thing had rotted from inside out, hole about 1mm straight through the outer wall, contacted them direct (jacksons), said i didnt clean it, explained but the snotty cow wouldnt listen, and just kept bleeting (limited warranty), Will never ever buy one again even if it was the only company s
  12. Left the rat race at 35,ish, started my own pest control business, trouble is proven to myself i could make a sucsessfull business, now i am starting to get itchy feet again, theres no challenge or adventure there anymore, this could be exasperated though by a health issue going on, there we go self analysis over. STILL HAVENT A CLUE.
  13. John b, didnt know you were into shore fishing as well, you boys want to try the other side if you havent already, great cod and bass fishing minehead to old severn bridge, in fact what the hell did i move all the way down here for. :thumbs-up:
  14. WOW, STUNNING, you are a very lucky guy, fair play. :thumbs-up:
  15. No Martin it is not ilegal to shoot foxes with a rimmy, was this about the pesty up in london who shoots out of his customers bedroom windows, if it is i met him breifly at the cla, he is a pro and would not do anything untoward. :thumbs-up:
  16. Totally agree with everyone about brno (cz), probably the most popular choice of 22 rimmy by pestis and keepers, they wont win beauty contests but very reliable tools, cant fault mine. :thumbs-up:
  17. Heart of wales, please keep us informed, i am in the market for NV and want to hear from as many as possible before parting with dosh. :thumbs-up:
  18. Sorry to say little loyd, think it would be best if you stopped digging yourself a big hole, firstly like it has already been said way to late to be catching up, and as for putting up forgotten trap, , not good. Note, think before touching keys on keyboard.
  19. Hi Ditchy, no that wouldnt be what you think it is, it is the new sorexa pro packaging confusing you, , also that wouldnt be 500 grms of ZP on the side or another couple of kg,s in the lock up, just theatrical scenery. , the front cage on top, half barreled shape i made years ago because i am to tight to pay eighty quid for, it catches every time and didnt cost a penny.
  20. For some reason this list of things makes me think you could make a good joke or a story out of them.
  21. There is quite a bit more than that, lots of mole traps out, plus cage traps and fenns out on jobs plus lot of rabbit snares as i am seriously busy on the bunnys this year.
  22. Been trying to put these pictures up for ages, Nothing I like better than looking at other peoples sheds to see what they have, so its only fair I show you mine!
  23. Cheers scuba 1, and john b, should be able to get it sorted now. :thumbs-up:
