  1. We were up there a few years back and think we may have encountered the were haggis whilst camping on the banks of Loch Ness, some varacious monster would lurk in the shadows waiting for softy southeners like ourselves to come out of the showers and attack with great ferrocity then slip back into the night, leaving you reeling.
  2. The froghoppers, cuckoo spit nymph, or the superfamily Cercopoidea, are a group of Hemipteran insects, in the suborder Auchenorrhyncha. Traditionally, most of this superfamily was considered a single family, Cercopidae, but this family has been split into three separate families for many years now: the Aphrophoridae, Cercopidae, and Clastopteridae. More recently, the family Epipygidae has been removed from the Aphrophoridae. These families are best known for the nymph stage, which produces a cover of frothed-up plant sap resembling spit; the nymphs are therefore commonly known as spittlebugs,

    Island

To keep me company, Liv Tyler and Dru Barrymore, the two things i would take with me are, a picture of my beloved FPO, so that i would not feel lonely or consider straying, . The second thing would be a book called Island of Dreams written by a welsh bloke who gave up his school caretakering job and buggered off to a deserted island, if i did exactly the opposite to everything this muppet did it would be a breeze.
  6. Ditch, i to are starting to think about mincing my own, i buy packs of frozen meat etc for the dogs, and to be honest it looks like shite, then again tonight i came home with eighty five rabbits that will more likely than not end up as compost for growing stuff on, then theres squirrels ,venison trimmings, tripes etc all readily available just needs mincing and packaging, and i am for some strange reason paying 50p a pack for frozen muck, time to start looking for an industrial mincer.
  7. There are so many, fred j taylors is pretty down to earth stuff, james Mc Cay knows what he is talking about, type in tideline or cochy- bondhu books loads to choose from.
  8. Bloody TV licensing, we have never had a telly and would not accept one as a gift, but you try telling those to....s that. Even under this dictatorship did not think it was compulsory to have a telly, but they obviously think it is.
  9. IF YOU HAVE A HOB AND A JILL, DONT LET THEM GET FRESH, THE SAND GETS EVERYWHERE.
  10. Attleborough accessories, they usually have some.
  11. Was thought to have been brought in from china about 10 - 15 years ago, there have been out breaks over here, there was one in an area of west wales where i used to live, one day rabbits were dopey and could be approached easily, next day they were dead. Luckily the virus is so virulant that it kills so fast that as yet it has not been able to spread, BUT, this year with the explosion in numbers it could do. As there must be few areas not colonised to act as a buffer zone, can only hope this will not be the case.
  12. I am with chalky on this one, but i think i might spend a night with the rimmy first then run out the nets aweek later then go in with the wires, GROUND ZERO, happy farmer, word of mouth equals lots of ground like that.

  19. I will just get my gun, but im all out of matches, Still out there now, dogs have been outside barking that usually sends them back in but this muppet is still acting the goat out there.
  20. Having a lazy morning , sat here at the pc, casualy look out of the window and see a red deer calf about 120 yds down the hedge prancing around then staring at the hedge, then bouncing away then coming back etc, a while ago mother came out to then went back in, the calf has been mucking about for an hour or so now, I know there are a brood of fox cubs down almost exactly where she is hanging around mostly, What i was wondering was is it possible she is actually playing with them, i know it sounds a bit walt disney but i cant think of any other explanation.
