  1. Attleborough accessories, they usually have some.
  2. Was thought to have been brought in from china about 10 - 15 years ago, there have been out breaks over here, there was one in an area of west wales where i used to live, one day rabbits were dopey and could be approached easily, next day they were dead. Luckily the virus is so virulant that it kills so fast that as yet it has not been able to spread, BUT, this year with the explosion in numbers it could do. As there must be few areas not colonised to act as a buffer zone, can only hope this will not be the case.
  3. I am with chalky on this one, but i think i might spend a night with the rimmy first then run out the nets aweek later then go in with the wires, GROUND ZERO, happy farmer, word of mouth equals lots of ground like that.
  4. Dont think you have put this gun up before, if you have i apologise, so could you please give the spec on the gun, havent seen a stock done in what appears to be mossy oak. Good stuff as usual though, keep them coming. :thumbs-up:

  10. I will just get my gun, but im all out of matches, Still out there now, dogs have been outside barking that usually sends them back in but this muppet is still acting the goat out there.
  11. Having a lazy morning , sat here at the pc, casualy look out of the window and see a red deer calf about 120 yds down the hedge prancing around then staring at the hedge, then bouncing away then coming back etc, a while ago mother came out to then went back in, the calf has been mucking about for an hour or so now, I know there are a brood of fox cubs down almost exactly where she is hanging around mostly, What i was wondering was is it possible she is actually playing with them, i know it sounds a bit walt disney but i cant think of any other explanation.

  16. Steyr pro hunter in stainless/ synthetic for me in 243, so happy with it i bought another one the same but in 6.5x55 great guns, if i didnt have these i would probably go back to the Tika T 3 in the same spec, would be about £i00 better off but not the same standard of finish. Good luck whatever your choice. MT
  17. See you soon, hope all goes well.
  18. You must have a good market for kits down your way! Have not bred/replaced any for three years, so am seriously in need of some more, especially if the rabbit jobs keep coming in like they have been, generally i have at least twenty ferrets, but at the moment three are geriatrics and five three year olds. Will probably keep 15 jills for myself, always have people wanting ferrets quite a few are spoken for already. People always want them because i am a pesty and think they are superior, or could it be because i give them away.
  19. According to M Brander in his book entitled Ground Game, Tideline 1976. I quote "her nick name PUSS for the hare is well earned. Who has not seen a hare slinking with almost feline gait down a wall side, or through a gateway and failed to recognise the resemblance? In the darkness as a car headlights catch her slipping over a wall or ditch, it is often hard to say exactly whether it was a cat, or a hare that was seen".
  20. Ditchy, are you sure you really need to blow money on one of these at all, i seem to remember reading somewhere that you like shooting leaning against trees/ posts etc, if you get on ok that way i would suggest you get two of the green coated ally 6 foot garden canes from b+q or wherever drill then 7" from the top put a nut and bolt through easy peasy, £6 all in. In my opinion unbeatable, got a harris had it on less than a week, been in the cupboard ever since (6 years). Why, because of the amount of chances to use, where as the sticks are always to hand dont wheigh anything, infinetly adjust
