  1. As new size 12 brasher supalights, bought last week for £125, Worn for 2 days, This is my 5th pair of these, bought the same size I always have but unfortunately due to a medical condition I have started to grow, didnt think about it at the time, and basically these are too narrow fitting for me now. This boot from new is like wearing a pair of slippers, very comfortable, very light and Gortex lined. Calf leather inside so very hard wearing. I wear these every day out working generally last me about two years, Can not fault them ( except this time not big enough!) As you can see from the p
  2. Quick note from FPO - Ok so it looks like a phormium (almost like giant grass!!) It can be dug up and split quite happily, or individual blades removed. Yep I believe it can also be taken back to almost ground level and should re shoot, however severe frost could kill it! MT suggest petrol and a box of matches!!
  3. Several people are now selling them on here, i know Mole Catcher is now making them and i think Gypo Joe does as well, both damned nice people to do business with as well.
  4. If you have real reason to control them not just for the hell of it, hit them when you can, because once the messers have educated them later they will be barstewards to catch up with.
  5. Ginger French, i knew a bloke in Bristol 20 + years ago that used to keep some lurchers, i bought my second pup off him, could this be the same bloke. , think he was a builder, but used to spend a lot of time running hares all over the place.
  6. Come on MC dont beat about the bush say what you mean. , i bought a copy off flea bay, worst copy ever you couldnt see a bloody thing, bloke said what did i expect for five quid. , well du, something i can watch.
  7. Morning MC, Really the place to start i suppose would be to get dimensions etc off CW as he has the genuine article, and he is a very nice man, , he also has lots of photos, , deffinetly got to have the second flap door half way though as this is what really makes them work, Mesh size can be fairly large but must not be so big as to let a jill pass through for obvious reasons, must be robust without being OTT.
  8. Ferret 15, you have a pm.
  9. Chalky, i was thinking exactly the same thing, MC could be the chap for the job, Come on "M" fire up the welder.
  10. Well, when we had this discussion a few weeks ago Foxyforce and myself were saying how we would like to get hold of some of these, well now roger is interested also, SO come, on there is a market here, there has got to be someone with the know how, and wants to make a few quid, , if they were made with two doors and made to the standard of the ones in Chalkys picture, you can put me down for two dozen to start with.

    Drop Nets

MC, you want to go halves on a set up like this one, i will keep it down here and you can come and get it if you need it. , Several jobs recently i could have made good use of a set up like this, but i would have to use it nearly every week to truly justify this sort of outlay.

  14. VERY VERY NICE, i have not seen anything about this perticular rifle before, so please could you humour me and tell all the details, some tidy grouping too, who did you get to build it or did you do it yourself. Regards MT.
  15. Happy birthday you pair, hope you have a great birthday.
  16. I have kept ferrets 30+ years now, in coops cages sheds courts, and they have all had one thing in common, wherever the ferrets decide they want to shit that is where it will stay, really wazzes me off, willrennyferreters suggestion might work if you only have one or two and you are on hand everytime they go to take a dump, Unfortunatly it is not a viable option for me as i have i think around thirty at the moment, and well, lifes to short, just keep cleaning it up. You try to make places lovely for them and this is how they show their appreciation.
  17. Me too, Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaasssssssseeee, if anyone knows of any, i will take one of the first dvd as well.
  18. You say they have been out but have not caught anything, in my book that counts as UNPROVEN, therefore i would expect to pay a lot less than the going rate. Regards MT.
  19. tELL THAT TO FALMOUTH DIVE CENTRE, they held on to two of mine until i agreed to have them tested, this was about three years ago.
  20. Hi Bobo, what make is the scope and when is the bottle and buddy bottles test certs due to run out, not being a tyre kicker, it is because it cost me a small fortune on my last pre charged and the dive centre would not release them until they were allowed to re cert or i informed them who was going to. Regards MT.
  21. Hi i might be interested, is the green wool still in good condition, what sort of price you looking for.
  22. Reload, got to give the pup credit where credits due, caught the rabbits on bare ground, can be as difficult as golf courses, nothing like as easy as set aside etc.
