  1. Fwb sports View Advert Hi, PRICE DROP! I have to thin my collection out a bit to make space for the theobens I've bought recently. So for sale are two Fwb sports, one completely restored to as new condition, complete with opens and sling swivels. V-mach kit fitted by Lyn lewington. Shoots really nice, Lyn set it at 11.4 with superdomes. This cost me a serious amount of money which I stand no chance of getting back ? I think £300 to be a very fair price. Second is a .22 again, but stock tatty and needs restoration, metalwork is excellen

  3. A lot of real knowledgeable blokes have left this site over the last fifteen or so years because of knob heads talking big/crap, so much knowledge lost that could have been shared if idiots would just stop typing shit.
  4. Great post as usual Clive ? I bought one last year, bugger is I put it in the loft and forgot about it till I saw this ? don't even know which I bought. So a trip to the loft tomorrow. I have a fishing trip planned for two weeks time which will start with two hours up and three down on the Bristol channel near avonmouth, then down to Weymouth to fish the night tide for squid etc, few pints and a meal, snooze in the van, then back to the land of cream and honey. I think the Kelly will fit in nicely in this road trip.
  5. Same here, goes a bit quiet about may to end of July then gets really busy October onwards.
  6. Well done. Very unfortunate weather for your week down here. ?
  7. The j11 goes down to about 3' if you really crank it in. On a slow retrieve with occasional stops it was going down a foot then popping back up etc. If we had stayed longer the plan was to move onto soft plastics.
  8. Indeed! Your not exactly blessed with good coastline in your neck of the woods ?
  9. Well we got out over polzeath way, it looked so bassy it was unreal. But no fishy on a dishy tonight ? my mate had one about 3lb following his lure but just didn't commit. Still a very enjoyable evening out.
  10. But it will keep it clean ? I want to use it off Ile de the, there's a lot of bass up arse end as we affectionately call it.
  11. Health has got a bit interesting again of late, so I've decided (again) more me time. I used to be really into my shore and boat fishing (more shore) but work, life and a smallholding have put all this on the back burner for way too long. So I've decided the quickest easy fix to fit in at the drop of a hat is bass lure fishing, well Pollack, mackerel etc too if they are around. I've still got a lot of tackle here, but I wanted a dedicated lure rod. So today after hospital retail therapy was in order. Came out with these and a handful of lures. Next week better tides an
  12. Not yet as it's still in the cider shed. It's the biggest non commercial press Vigo do with the ratchet. However this year we may just rent the powerful apple organisation hydraulic one as we are going to have so many apples to process.
  13. Jok' you get them from Vigo. They are expensive, but it's an incredible bit of kit. It turns apples or whatever into pulp as fast as you can pour them in. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough.
  14. Didn't make a drop last year. Got all the apples up together ready then supposedly had a stroke, so gave them all away. Not a great year for apples in our own orchards, but we've been offered far more than we can process by our customers. So we start accumulation this week with a view to processing in about a fortnight. How's everyone else looking?
  15. Sweet ? will watch their progress with interest.
  16. Mel always cops the rough end here too when I have my blips. But they are resilient creatures and seem to take it in their stride. I'm surprised it's only a month you've been layed off for. When my gut exploded years ago I only lost a couple of inches of intestine and it was six weeks ? you northern chaps are made of sterner stuff ??
  17. Bloody hell Clive! That's some serious drama. Hopefully you will recoup in record time. Look after yourself mate. Jamie.
  18. Really great vid that ? I've been out on the north coast this morning looking for a bass from the shore, but no luck. A few nice mackerel though I'm light tackle for tea. We are going down west to the lizard, or Roseland next week for a few days on staycation. Hopefully find some where to winkle one out down there.
  19. Yep, you are totally correct! They have again moved the goal posts ?
  20. Fantastic endless possibilities! We only have 3.5 acres and it produces soooo much. As an aside though, you are no longer allowed to tether goats. ?
