  1. My bitch Snowy, nearly two. 24" tts, sired by Kubla Khan and coming on very well.
  2. Nice photos artic, the guy doing all the bending over in the photos has buns of steel, oh hang on a second, that's me! 'Hard going' about sums it up, but we didn't come home empty handed, the dogs and ferrets are still in one piece, plus there was no digging, a good day by my standards. Attached is a photo from my phone of a dog that's very determined to make sure the rabbit doesn't escape the net.
  3. Hi all, Does anyone know the legal situation regarding hunting with lurchers/sighthounds/longdogs in Canada? I understand legal restrictions can vary from state to state, I'm most interested in the laws in British Columbia and can't find any-up-to date info on the net as any search for 'hunting + dogs + Canada' brings up results relating to shooting dogs, and the posts on here about Canada are a bit vague. Any advice would be much appreciated. Best, Joe
  4. Great post artic, and my thanks to you for a very good night's sport on excellent permission. It wasn't a big bag, but it was a lovely warm night out and there were some hilarious moments, the saluki x's first run being the highlight, where as you say, he caught the rabbit by crash-landing the full force of his body on top of the poor bunny as it sought refuge in the hedge! Then on one of the deerhound x's runs I was holding the other two dogs when the rabbit came within feet of us, and I somehow managed to both punch myself in the nose and blind myself with the lamp while trying to keep
