oh aye forgot to say if at some point your training starts to go tits up{and it prob will} dont get angry with the dog stop training and just go for a walk then start again tomorow.and remember two 15minutes training sessions are better than one half hour session or ten minutes then ALWAYS try to end on a success plenty of praise for success and ignore if it gets it wrong atb

take your time with it dont be in a rush to get it running spend plenty yime training it.sit stay retreving.the more time you spend training it and bonding with it the better the dog will be.DONT RUSH.and if you need advice this is the place to get it

I always start with nets on, get the pup used to rabbits in the net, let it hold them in the net, when happy, leave a couple of nets off, let it chase back to other holes, encourage the pup to fill its nose with scent at the hole. Leave the nets off for a couple of chases, then when the penny has dropped combine it all together. Marking, working the nets and chasing bolters. Patience. thats what this site is all about good sound advice exactly the way it should be done {in my oppinion}

lolmy 13yo wont go without makeup lol no my youngest but she wants to go everytime.great that your son gutting the catch mine done pheasants before then went into school and told everyone teatcher pulled up the wife to ask where she getting all this stuff from.she told her .its her dad {as usuale}now though she has written a couple of storrys about going up to look after pheasants.and won prizes about how her lurcher won rossets and that .teatcher now askes her if the dogs won anything or if she has been up at the farm

awite folks going to take my 9yo girl out tnite lamping.we went out the other night and saw 3 but none of them would play the game since then she been telling her grandad all about her lamping trip {about 20 times}and calling me at work to tell me that its windy.lol.got home tnite fae work and she had her cammo gear on already .hats ma girl cheers

dont know how it would turn out but if i wes you i would be straight on the phone and demand my money back in no unsertane terms if you only had it 8 hours then it came with parvo .and if the seller is a decent dog man then you should get your money back .if not make a point of telling everybody u can name names and warn everybdy else.good luck with the pup and i hope its neg

mines shit!! dog got swolen toe am gutted [bANNED TEXT] at the start of my season had her out tday on lead felt wierd no havin my lurcher searching about up front but the good news is that gave her a wee play about with my lab and she dodnt limp at all.charlie getting an easy ride so far but no for long.get your mates to send you some country mans weekly?
