    Alimac i spoke to the owner of the shoot in the morning and he said he didnt know how much we are getting (pish) he was going to see the head keeper. So i spoke to him again after dinner the auld bugger could hardly talk he'd had that much brandy he said he was going to see the keeper now and he did . The keeper said to me just about word for word what you said in your original post about not making mony ect and the shoot will close if they dont make money this yr All this was said before i posted my first post so i came on here just to ask what you where all getting and its got alot of respo

    i take 5 labs with me others take 1 or 2 and we all get the same but im not asking for more coz im working 5 i love working my dogs and i wont stop going picking up coz the money is shite but as labtastic said its nice to be appreciated hail hail labtastic

    I know its not about the money but the dogs have to be fed and looked after and dog feed has gone up again and it will go up again soon the last time we had a rise was 6 years ago and it went up £1 Im not a charity

    Just wondering how much you are all getting for a days picking up we regularly have 250/300 bird days partridge and pheasant days and getting £28 which i think is an insult

    4 YR OLD GUNDOG SHE HAS DONE 50/60 DAYS PICKING UPA YEAR FOR THE LAST 3 YEAR SHE IS'NT THE HARDEST HUNTER BUT SHE PICKS UP . I HAD A LITTER OUT OF HER LAST JULY AND SINCE THEN SHE HAS TURNED TO SOFT FOR ME . IF I GIVE ANOTHER DOG OF MINE A ROW SHE WILL TAKE OFF AND GO DOWN OFF THE HILL AND INTO THE TOWN. ONE DAY SHE WILL GET RUN OVER IF THIS CONTINUES SO IVE DECIDED TO SELL HER SHE HAS A TOP CLASS PEDIGREE AND KC REG. SHE WOULD DO SOMEONE AS A PEG DOG OR A ROUGH SHOOTER AND WOULD BE BETTER 1 ON 1 SO THE ATTENTION IS ON HER SHE HAS A VERY NICE NATURE GOOD WITH KIDS AND WONT TOUCH STOCK I LOVE

    As usuall i went along to my kennels today and on the way i met my father who told me that he'd just cleaned the dogs out as he always gets ther before me . So i opened the kennels and let all the dogs out 8 labs a terrier and lurcher started to walk up the field to go up and round the hill as i always do first thing . About 20 yards up the field my fox red lab bhoyo who is only 7 1/2 yr old started to roll in the mud or so i thought so as i approached i noticed something was wrong. So i quickly put the dogs back in the kennel went back and picked Bhoyo up by this time he was dead i think it w
