  13. hi, just wondering how the accred is going, hav you heard anything yet, micky

  14. i reevo, i'v not had one caught by the flipper but as for having your tunnel traps filled with soil, i use these all the time and would'nt use anything else, the trap is not being set in the tunnel properly and the mole has either detected it or the run has loose soil in it and the mole has realised there's something not quite [bANNED TEXT] with his tunnel and back filled it. u have to make the run smooth and the trap is set properly, push it down so the bottom of the trap loops are in the ground, thats if your still using the barrel traps. micky Cheers Mickey will keep trying till i get o

  16. my customers also prefer me to be there pronto when they notice a fresh mole hill, the longer it is left, the more damage they do.
  17. i bought a x reg 3.1 swb a year ago. was'nt sure about it at first but would'nt get rid of it now, i'll be running it till it dies then getting another 1. maybe lwb next time as i need a bit more space in the back.
  18. i trid cows milk on my young pup when i first got him, he just spewed it all back up, now i put some in his water and not had any problems since.
  19. i'm a level 3 accredited member also on the giuld, working for me master molecatcher, not had much work from them tho. you learn more about the mole than you do at BTMR, it helps alot when your customers start asking you questions about them, let me know how the website goes as i'v not got one yet it sounds interesting.
  20. i'm a member of THE BRITSH TRADITIONAL MOLECATCHERS REGISTER, i get 25% of my jobs from people loggin on to there web site, i also put posters up in garden centre's, farm supply shops and drop a flyer through the letter box of places i see mole hills.
  21. i catch moles up here in yorkshire, i charge £15 trap setting fee and £15 per mole plus 60p a mile for fuel. i charge a set price for farmers, depending on the size of the problem, i.e.. £120 a week or £25 an hour regardless of the amount of moles i catch. farmers are tight buggers so you gota make them think there getting a bargain, you can catch well over a hundred on a good farm maybe double that, so your guna be trying to get a £1000,00 or more of him. good luck.
