  1. Unfortunately the nearest greyhound track to us is 3-4 hrs away, not much happens down here for dogs anymore. Thankfully there are plenty of rabbits though
  2. Hi, thank you for all your help. We have to take him back to the vets tomorrow so he can be sedated again and then they should give us a proper diagnosis. I will then ring a couple of the numbers that you all have given me to get a second opinion. Swindon is 100 % worth the travel because our dog lives to catch rabbits so we have to do everything we can to make sure he makes a full recovery. Sandra Osborne sounds like a good option too and is a lot closer. Thanks again you have been very helpful, Tish
  3. I was just wondering if anyone can help......my Lurcher has torn apart his ligaments, the extent of the damage is unknown as of yet (bloody vets!!!). I would like to see a proper Greyhound vet but don't know of any in Cornwall. Does anyone know of any please??
  4. I want to start my dogs on a raw food diet but am not sure how to go about it. Would be good if some of you could give me an idea of what raw foods i should be feeding , how much to feed and what vitamins i should give......your advice would be greatly appreciated
  5. On first taking our dog Chopper out with a mate lamping beside the landi he did really well but had a lot to learn. Chopper had one speed-flatout :11: and also needed to increase his fitness to keep up with this hardcore lamping :weight_lift2: When out beside the landi or on foot at our walking permissions he had only ever got four rabbits in total so we really needed to increase his fitness for the oncoming season. I managed to get ourselves a 600 acre permission a couple of weeks ago so off we went in a borrowed 4 x 4 and despite the still evenings Chopper and his dog mate Jago have been

Good all rounder, Black in colour, firstly must be an excellent working dog but also want it for working events at shows, not too big. I'm thinking Grey,Saluki for sure and then deerhound, whippet , beddy, collie in the mix!!!

Great pic ...our dog is 3 and we have only just started working him so hopefully he will still be working and jumping bails for fun in 10 yrs time too
