Agree with 90% of what you say Foxfan. Personal view was we all have a right to peaceful protest, but if you overstep that mark then the full force of the law should be unleashed on these people. Re their "Right" to education, next they will be telling us that they have a right to a job when they graduate. Welcome to the world students. Gnasher, do you have anger management issues you would like to share with us? Played union at school, but the hard men play league. Forget the premier league, watch the local amateur teams, jeez there's more blood there than in a hospital!. Despite Sky throwing a fortune, league is still an M62 game.

We had an x-trail and sure enough the turbo went but covered under warranty. If you want a rufty tufty gun bus, a defender is great, I have N reg 116,000 on the clock and all fine Terrano/Maverick are good as well but not too wide. if you want comfort, the D2 is fine. TD5 engine has a few isuues, oil can ( by capillary action) work its way into the ecu and cause problems. Have a look on Landrover uk forums, great website, lots of advice!.

If you join the CA, BASC or any of these types of organisatons, £10mill insurance is part of the package. Sadly it doesn't cover mornons who can't shoot and are a danger to others

A bit of lighthearted fun. A mate who is an engineeer once said. "whoever designed the fairer sex wants a pat on the back......Whoever did the wiring wants shooting!" and he has a point. Talking of weird things, a permission i have overlooks a forest car park, its where we went "courting" as teenagers. It's now a paradise for doggers ( not you lot on here :-)) so whenver we finish, we stand close to teh wall and let both barrells off, sounds like the start of the Indy 500... childish but funny

Did you have permission to be on the land, two options If you did have permission, maybe it was others whi like to use the land and wanted to scare you off. If you didn't have permission, then maybe the farmer/keeper had kept a watch anyway. Either way you had a lucky escape....

The centre pin is live and the body is negative. If it's a lightforce 55w halogen job or similar, the only safe way is to wire direct to battery via a relay, fuses and a switch. Sounds cimplictaed but isn't. Even i managed to do it... Anything else and you can risk an electrical fire.

Agree with Hatty that religion has been used to subdue the masses for years ( more through not spreading education etc ) but i do believe there is a god, and that god is the same whether it's Muslim, Hindu, Christian or Jewish. Also, even if you don't believe in god, the ten commandments ain't a bad start

Got 2 Quads, one .22 synthetic stock, one.17hmr in wood, both awesome on the range and in the field. Finish on both is perfect. Tim

Mrs Had one for 2 years, was fine but Turbo blew, luckily was under warranty. Honest John website says this is quite common
