    If im buying a pup i would have to see the parents...also if im buying a working dog of someone that i dont know i ask for a trial..if the dog is what they claim it to be they shouldnt have a problem with it.

    its the sister to it was gonna keep the both of them but that will mean i'd have 4 lurchers and probably wouldn't have enough work for the 4 of them so im letting the black pup go and keeping the brindle bitch Just seen the ad 10 mins after seeing this thread lol Alb with the pup anyway mate like the look of it.

    Sounds like ligament damage mate ligaments never heal 100% there always weaker after.

A very well known phrase..mate got given a 3 year old pet whippit X Grey last week never been worked..he took it out ferreting the other day to see if he had any interest in working..he learnt quick and caught a few bolters he was over the moon..havnt seen the dog yet but the boy knows his dogs and thinks it has good potential do you think it could turn into a good lamping dog at his age?

    I have one mate will put a pic on tomorrow as im busy here. Good we all rounders does rabbits for fun and a good few reds.

    One of my mates lurchers was brought up with his wifes 3 we pet dogs..got on fine and 2 years later wakes up to a dead dog that the lurcher had killed. Keep all mine dogs seperate.

    You say they have been killed by us humans, or are they dieing because of this virus (VHD)??? Every rabbit has been mauled mate.

    Might sound like a daft question but over the last few weeks iv found a lot of dead rabbits that some D**** have killed an just left them liein in the fields..seeing this does my head in would love to meet these people out lamping one night. What does everyone else do with theres?

    I have a rotty crossed some type of terrier its just a pet my mum n dads..whats the neck on the pup like mate has it got a lot of skin hanging like a rotty? Wouldnt be the best for things that fight back if it does mate but all the best with him.

    My pup pulled like mad especially out lamping once he got a scent of something.. a lot of walking with choke chain and it getting more experience in the field seemed to do the trick.

    Half the places i lamped last year has all been wiped with mixi only see 1 or 2 now if your lucky..farmer told me he seen a lot of rabbits lieing dead on 1 of my permissions havent been to look yet sounds like some w****** have been out shooting and leaving them.

    Yes mate. Heres my we bull whippit pic was took 2 months ago grew a bit more now 14 months old 22 tts. Done its first fox the other day will post pic of it and fox tomorrow

    Great photos mate. Sometimes i like to go without the nets and just with the dogs better sport. Thats if your doing it for sport and not pest control.

    I dont like my dogs jumping, only got my 14 month old bull whippit back from vets yesterday after needing stitches in his stomach from barbwire after chasing a rabbit that went through a fence. Also where i hunt a lot of the fields are beside the road and a few big ones so isnt the safest having my dogs jump.
