if thats the case why did'nt deben just make a 15ft box to pick up the 8ft&15ft collars then.. i've just tried the 8ft box on a 15ft collar an it's only picking up at 8ft.

a full metal cage will be very cold in winter an as said above will be very hot in summer unless kept in the shade. atb

if you can afford it get three collars one each for the ferret's and a spare one. if not use the one until you can afford more. atb

yes it's still the mk1 even thou deben made a few upgrade's to the grey box's.. i've got a couple of the grey box's when i take the cover off them on the on/off wheel it say's mk1/mk2/mk3. i can't see the difference myself. atb

it will work with any mk1 collars.. you say the box is 8ft so it will only pick up to 8ft even with a 15ft collar.. atb

i started ferreting 23/24 years ago without a locator. had a few long wait's outside hole's until i bought my first mk1 locator box for £20:00 an a collar £22:00 best investment i ever made. would'nt put a ferret to ground without a locator an collar now

they can get abcess's if you have tried to pull a tick off and left the head of the tick in the ferret

it's ok giving your ferret's whole rabbit's,minced up meat in the winter month's when it will keep a day or two because it's cold. but you see how long it take's a fly to find raw meat in the summer month's an lay a few eggs on it for your ferret to eat.. atb

are you using a locator with your ferret. your ferret's doing what it was bred for.. sound's like it's locating the rabbit's but can't turn them it is a small jill or big hob atb

I bought them off someone on here mate,and i did pm someone first who said he had nets off him and they were good..You live and learn.. ask for a refund if wont give refund name an shame so nobody else gets done
