back to the farm for a few hours ferreting got there at 9am spoke to the owners just to let them no we were on there land then a 30min walk to the 1st set of burrows nets down 2ferrets collard up in they go normally get a few from this one but can here the rabbits just runin abt under ground they dont want to come out then it goes quite can here some squealing mk3 ferret finder out finds one ferret at 3.5ft out with the spade nt looking forward to this ground is rock solid 15mins later we are getn there pulled the last of the soil out with me hands 1bunny with my jill hold on finds the nxt fer

jusy bought 1 of ebay for 40pnd and is in mint cond

there was a fixen and a big dog fox kicking around the fields saw them a couple of times nxt to the sheep but would a fox nt take the whole rabbit

was out ferreting yesterday got 12 rabbits but to save me carrying them around the fields i always hang them from fence posts or tree,s then collect them on way back went to collect the last two and 1 had been pulled to the floor eyes missing and ripped open at the sies,2nd one just had the eyes missing dnt no what done it and never seen and thing like this before and been ferreting this farm all season and nothing liked this has happend before any 1 got and ideas please cheers calvin

out today not been out for 2weeks back to the dairy farm spoke to the farmer then off to get a good soaking as it never stopped raining,nets down on the first set ferrets collared up in go two ferrets ten mins later out comes the 1st rabbit of the day on the move to a long hedge row in go the two off them agin out come 5 large bunnys,next set out come two more rabbits, then no sign of 1 of the ferrets yep its a dig cant complain as its me first dig in 2years been lucky or what even more luck its only 2foot down its a stopend hole out comes the first bunny quickly followed by the 2nd with 1 fer

went out on Saturday 2weeks after me last outing nothing aft 4 hours then used me Jill very causes to use her,she is just over 1yr old now when i have had her out she has been to hyper jump all over dont like the collar but then on Saturday our normal hob who is small and 1st class was having an off day messing about in went the Jill and out came the rabbits,only 3 netted and 5 missed not to bad netting bet tree stumps across holes and under trees which couldn't be netted but he she worked like a good UN aft loads of Patience with her time has paid off don't ever be to quick to get shot of Ur

i have 2 hobs 1 extra large and 1 small and dnt have a problem with the large hob neva had a dig 2 him yet but if he does get a hold then i think i will have problems u got any pics of theese large hobs

don't have dogs or long nets,had three ferrets out yesterday and for two of them it was there first time which was pleasing and the nets it was there first time out as i only learned how to tie them this season so a lot of pluses thanks for all the great comments lads cheers Calvin
