  1. Nice pups them and good luck with them. I always amazies Me how two litter siblings can look so different. Lurcher Litter`s are certainly like a box of Chocolate`s Thorny
  2. This is also the type of pup I have just started My search for, I am also down in the south east, so any information on up and coming litters would be gratefully received. I already own a Hancock dog. He is a nice steady dog and gets on with what I want him to, but this time I would prefer worker to worker breeding, but as said they are as rare as hens teethe. Perhaps why Hancock keeps going
  3. Good luck with it mate, atleast it proves your breeding from stock that is old enough to be tried at tested, not like some you see.
  4. Paper work is a doodle mate, you can even do it online at Kennel club website, you can even leave it to them to sort names if you want.
  5. Sorry mate but what a load of rubbish, silly comments like this will cause the guy even further problems, dear O dear!!!Time to go to vets if you are concerned. I would opt for a good quality dry food, by this I mean top end stuff. Could just be a heredatory trait, Mum and Dad can be fine even grandparents and it will stop pop up from time to time. Are You adding any suppliments to his meat. Have you insured enough calcium has been added to his diet. What sort of exercise has the pup had.
  6. Nice pup mate, but I would advise you not to eat the cream in your fridge if its that colour
  7. very well made documentary. Boxing at that time was electric. Remember watching the fight in a local pub on big screne the place went mental when he went down on his knee to take his count. Very sad ending for him. Such a shame that he and Watson ended up the same way and within the same era.
  8. So did you get what You wanted or still waiting yes when i bred them i said would like a brindal bitch the other lads that aske for pups got what they wanted as well so now the work starts Nice looking little bitch that.Has she thrown more racey? as mum looks very collie type
  9. So did you get what You wanted or still waiting
  10. Some very nice, animals been posted up, Not bothered about things that bite. Bunnies and feather for Me. So I am guessing its the softly softly approach when training and schooling a saluki blooded animal.
  11. If it where down to the wife it would be a pure saluki bitch, that joins the house. She loves the look of them, must be them pretty ears I go out on the lamp a couple of times a month, so not a real big thing. My main passion is day time mooching. Whats better than being up and out before dawn, and coming home at lunch time. Even better if its sunday and a wiff of roast beef hits you in the face as you open the front door. So I want a dog that can go out and about for 6 to 7 hours a day. Work for its self to a certain extent, but never to far away. Hopefully what ever I get will work along s
  12. I am very interested in collie blooded lurchers, I currently have a collie x grey. I will next spring add another pup to the house. I have seen a couple of crosses work that I like the sound and look of. I am very interested to learn and see more of collie/grey x saluki type dogs. Any pictures and feedback would be greatfully recieved, also if anyone is planning a litter of this breeding I would be very thankfull to hear of it. I have found My collie x grey to be a very esay going dog, quick to learn and easy to train, although a working dog he is also a big part of our house, and is great wi
  13. Collie x greyhound puppy Jack Russell and an ancient Bull Terrier will add another running dog next spring
  14. Bitch looks settled and all pups on and doing what they do best "Milk!!!" Good luck with them be very interested to see them develope. Dad looks a real tool. Thorny
  15. My Lad, both a mix of border & beardie, coming on well and getting things together slowly but surely, mainly we do day time mooching and is now getting the hang of finding the odd pheasent. Thorny
  16. I have the same approach as You mate, for Me I just love being out and about with the dog. I have a collie x greyhound. He is 15 months old now. Had a few bunnies a couple he has really had to work for in thick cover. He even pulled a hen pheasent out last week. The look of shock on his face as he caught it just as it started to take off was brilliant. I am the same as you in the fact I dont want endless rabbits in the freezer, just a dog that can handle being out all day, can think for itself and is switched on enough to learn his own trade. Dont get Me wrong he is very obediant, and will wor
  17. Good luck in finding a good home, and nice to read of someone who cares about there dogs and where they go.
  18. Easy for me as I am only 13 months in to owning My first lurcher. My lad at 15 months old collie x greyhound

  20. Spot on there mate, dogs on roids, thats disgusting. 20 months old and You say You impatient, He is still maturing the old fashioned way. Good grub and plenty of exercise
  21. Very nice, bet she can get a lick on at top speed
  22. Very nice Gaffer, I have comented on them before but the two with collie in the mix look right up My street. As You have both Grey x Deer and also Greyx Deer with collie also in the mix what do You think they bring to the table instead of the original cross. What collie is behind them border, beardie? I would guess it gives them a better nose. Very interested to hear Your findings. Thorny
