    ian love the landy just sold me old one last week , it was me pride and joy ,just bought a 200tdi disco but do prefer me old series 3 not very practical for long journeys but would go most places off road
  3. as the name says on the door snaring and trapping ,some areas have to be controlled due to the numbers and the ban and snaring is a legal and effective way to control them , yes mitch theres a lot of people owe a lot to woodga for sharing his knowledge and pointing them in the right direction giving them free wires and his time top bloke

  9. brock this picture was taken 2 yrs ago it was woodgas dog nettle ,i can remember the night if it was yesterday the rain came and came some more the fields were flooded but they still have to feed if not far from the burrows ian ,and millety were here the early part of the night they set off home to come back and me and woodga thought we were wet so you cant get any wetter we thought so we went to another part and lamped some more ,one rabbit coursed over the field only to jump in to a small lake from the rain the rabbit made its way across the pond only to be persued by nettle she caught i

  13. well we were invited out again by a forum member you know who you are a big thanks from me and woodga to his wild bird shoot ,we had another cracking day seeing good numbers of birds full tailed flying at full tilt over the guns ,a fine show , a few woodcock(6) and a brace and a half of english partridges ,its good to see these about someone is doing his work well in pest control , the rest of the covey flew on for another day a fine sight watching them fly off ,fast with the wind , we met some good lads on this shoot with a n ex member woody from a while back , atop lad he invited me
  14. compo your right woodgas terriers will work from when they jump out the car til you got to chase them back in ,a couple of words in there direction keeps them in check ,close enough to get a shot with the shotgun ,but it is hard when they in hot pursuit , as an example after we got back to the car lucy marked a pile of sleepers as we were getting changed to come home she tried every way to get in there to flush it out ,they are certainly top dogs a pleasure to watch , we owe them a lot
  15. well its my last day before getting back to work and was out for a day of enjoyment (( read pest control,vermin control ,sport ,lust use which is approriate )) , anyhow a finer day you could not pay for working the dogs through the reeds and bushses flushing to the gun for us to shoot well some people ,not that i missed any who me ? no (( well dont tell anyone, only a couple must be dud shot :kiss: )) , it was a fantastic day with woodga and john lucy and blaze ,they worked there hearts out pushing out every tuft , its good being out with top lads what a way to end the holidays ,o
  16. yep maty nikwax is the stuff i used it on my walking boots for years , a little tip is warm the tin first not too much it goes fully liquid (( not speaking from experience tho :whistle: )) just enough to soften it then apply with the fingers rubbing it in all over then allow to dry in a warm room it applys better this way cheers rob
