  2. it was our 4th shoot day saturday gone its been ok for a small shoot the bag has been ok ,with the partridges hanging about for more than a few days before dissapparing off to the sunset ,the woodcock seem to have made an appearance a little earlier on our ground last year we only had a couple late on ,not sure if its the same by you? , what a top class bird they are a class sporting bird , anyway saturday i was waiting in line my turn to stand for the beaters to bring somne gorse down to us 4 in the line ,i had a shot at a passing pigeon but missed well and truly , a little later i see thi
  3. i could not stop laughing when i read that quote also " ya thick geordie c@#t ya" ring in my ears on showing me setting wires , but glen only wants you to be able to snare to the best you can with respect for your quarry, i will echo everyones comments , woodga took me to meet him one day , he even showed me how to set wires in the garden to practice what he had told me , i know very little and have a lot to be thank ful for woodga and glen snare to the best of my ability ,its not often people at the top of there sport are willing to pass on methods of there success snaring with these men i

  6. the garages per mile will be a quite a few i think it had some power very nice it was , the rum and cokes they served too were great , they emptied a little of the coke out the glass bottle and topped it up with rum it was happy hour every 10 mins

  14. a tragic loss my thoughts are with his family , he was a true balls out hero one of a few , i was there in wales in 95 when he won his first world championship was spine tingling stuff ,a real shame loss of family too makes it worse rip colin and son rob

  19. well me bro my son and me were off fishing again to see if we could catch a few more today ,the weather was graet warm overcast with some good hatchs of fly coming off so some traditional patterns were used among some not , we had a top time havibg about 10 - 15 each we kept 4 between us , and retuned the rest , i remember in the distant past every fish we caught would be coming home ,how times have moved well my son caught his first fish with a lil help but he did bring it in i was well pleased for him heres a couple of the day to peruse
  20. ian your right there strong stuff if it goes get the matches or buy a new jumper it is one hell of a pain in the arse to do the worst thing is i still have to do it again to see if i have loosened a connector its just not cricket chaps !!! after that call the fire brigade me jeeps a hold :oops:

  23. well if your an early disco owner and have probs with your heater ,my advice is buy another coat or jumper cos this is how you get it out all the dash and the rest must come out to get at the box ,not a job that i have done lighlty the worst thing is i stripped it down installed the heater it worked fine before putting the dash back in ,now thats its back in it wont work so i have been told on another forum 4x4 uk.org , shamless plug ,a connector may have come loose on putting the dash back in , so there you have it if the heater goes stick on a new coat , or get ya big wallet out for mr
