  2. hi all i have been wondering if anyone has ever had a lurcher (or whippet ?) that would chase but never catch and kill / retrieve a rabbit (or other quary pre ban). i am not suspicious of any dog of mine or a friends but was daydreaming the other day and just wondered if it has happened?

  6. ur gun may not like them pellets mate google pelpax or sonething like that...and they will send you loads and loads of differant pellets then just pick the best pellets for ur gun is ur gun .177 or .22 also have you made sure ur scope and mounts are tight atb them pellpax sample packs are a handy discovery thanks
  7. yes - perch livebaits are fine, i use them with same results as other species such as roach livebait.

  9. i am looking to make a quick set long net as the pinned topic shows, i have found a place i can order the materials from but which is best 4z or 6z?. does 6z tangle less but could rabbits bounce off it? thank you for any advise.

  14. not for any form of hunting , i just used it on targets like cans and hand drawn circular targets against straw bales.
  15. i remember when i was around 13 i went through a bow making phase, i made my best one from a 6 foot boat rod, and the arrows from dowling and feathers from my mates pigeon loft. i have looked on eBay at some longbows but they seem very expensive. does anyone make their own on here from wild british wood or bought yew blanks and how did they turn out?

  17. as long as you make sure you stick to your chamber length, look to see if its 2 3/4 or 3 inch chambers before you buy some bb carts. iv heard people say BB shot is fine for fox but i have not shot any with them.
