hiya i lost my choke key on monday whilst i was pigeon shooting and want to know if you have to buy one same make as the gun or is there such a thing as a universal choke key??i was shooting with a winchester 7000 field 12guge

Hi all i was wondering if anyone out there goes pigeon shooting with a 20bore.? ive recently inherited one but dont know if it will do the job in the field. and what chokes i would use and what range the kill zone is with one ,any replies welcome..
