  2. Just an after thought. I read an article this morning of the Countryside Alliance relating to the Anniversary of the Hunting with dogs act. It was primarily a reference to the Fox hunting Packs . I noted a glaring absence of any reference to other forms of working dogs that have been directly penalised to a greater extent than the fox hounds by the said Act. I noted no in put from the AWL the voice on the CA committee. I continued to read the news letter there was not a single reference or article about genuine working dogs it beggars one question are the lurchers/terriers /running dogs having

The labradoodle bitch is 2 years old .Already had 2 litters and due in season again so ahe must have been bred the first time at 9/10 months old, then again at next season at maybe 17 months old and now putting due in season again so punting as a brood bitch the c**t doing it should be ashamed and banned from owning a dog

  9. An hunting mucker of mine was Saluki kennel blind,he travelled the country back in the early ,s and owned more than his fair share of pures. He was a good man with a lurcher and owned, trained and hunted with many a good-un over the years. He put all he knew into his pures and never owned one that was half the dog of his mongrel bred lurchers. i never seen a good saluki that couldnt do more than a lurcher strange isnt it?: I would question how good a stockman your mucker was ?. Most lurchers and coursers have saluki in the mix speaks for itself I think. As for kennel blind i n my experience mos

  15. Your a lamper its not making a dog quicker on the lamp.its getting a dog to follow the beam as it learns its craft once the dog knows the basics some even run outside the beam dont they? Most Lads cant even get a saluki to come back to them never mind teach them any work. I dont lamp myself but a lot of lads I know lamp pures and lurchers never heard them say salukis cant do this or not as good as lurchers these are old school lads with plenty of years behind them on all sorts of stuff.

  21. Police officers have responded to hundreds of incidents of illegal hare coursing in Cambridgeshire over the past four months. Cambridgeshire Constabulary has revealed that it logged 831 incidents between the beginning of October last year and the end of January 2017. Banned since 2004, hare coursing involves the pursuit of the small animals with greyhounds or other dogs. A Rural Crime Action Team was re-formed by the police in April last year following community concerns about the practice, which typically peaks in winter months. 22. I dont lamp myself but most of the lads I know that do their dogs are broken to stock and really steady. i wonder but I have often wondered if the actual facts are that most sheep worrying and killing is in fact carried out by pet dogs who arepermitted to run wild daily and even at night , I appreciate that most pet dog owners are responsible owners but how many actually do break their dogs to live stock/ has it ever been collated whether its domestic or working dogs responsible for stock worrying, I think it wont be suprising what the outcome would show.
  23. Shortage of good working saluki bitches every where.
