    It is all down to what happens on any particular day as far as any dog is concerned I have been around dogs long enough to know that any dog can be beaten, To me what cant be beaten is to have a dog that puts in 110% every time you take it out. Good crew and a good crack it doesnt matter if its mooching or matching without the enjoyment what would be the point.     As the title says a non pedigree whippet is exactly that a non pedigree but it is still a whippet I have a blue whippet bitch from working stock she is 17 tts so what would she be classed a s a lurcher. as for grehounds having bull blood it was crossed out so long ago so if you take the ratios that people use 5/8 x 3/8 etc then the cross out would be after 7 generations wouldnt it ?all though genetically it could be open to speculation.

    There are many decent dogmen who have in depth knowledge and experience but when they allow financial gain to become upermost in thier criteria, then its down hill from there there. Commercialisation allows the crabbers to start the tirades against them often well founded.

    You can only get into bother if your doing something wrong,walking dogs,on leads,around the footpaths etc.may raise the odd eyebrow,as you are doing nothing illegal theres no need to worry,if you are planning on accidently letting the dogs loose on a bunny or 2,then you could fall foul of the locals.Is it to cold in winter for you and your mate to hit the dales?. ok, and were not planning on going for rabbits its just where we live is in the city and wanna get somewhere right out in the open for a good walk about just as a matter of interest what dogs would you be walking house pets or work

    get hold of some mutton if you can make bit of broth plenty of veg and pasta in it feed it four times a day not over face it with food it needs to get some weight on it and plenty of clean water and fresh air couple of weeks it will be a different pup

    The 100 pounds was entry fee for the competition not a bet and if you new you had no chance why did you pay £100 expensive lesson I would say most lads go in when they think they might have a chance.

    if you are into serious running, always better to have a couple on the yard in case of injury . If only one dog it leaves you with a broken season. It is not to difficult to raise and run a couple at a time at least

    Did the vet do blood samples and skin scrapings for analasys this is more than an allergic reaction it is some blood infection
