    there will be three or four good dogs in this year, most were young and in first season last year plenty of notice this time so the dogs will be a lot fitter also.. there will be some definite surprises.

    i think you will find in the old days there wasnt much lamping went on. Your were either into coursing ,rabbiting , ferreting or terriers the vast majority being daytime activity unless you were a poacher snaring
