    as this doesnt appear to be a private prosecution by the RSPCA then a full section 1 commital should be asked for at the magistrates, if this is a criminal prosecution then the DPP would have to consider how strong thier case is and then produce all thier evidence before the magistrates this would test the water to see how strong the case is and the case may well be dropped. it cetainly appears Mr Reece is taking the micheal. Clarrisa Dixon is a Barrister dont know if she pratices or not but she was prosecuteD for coursing a few years ago maybe she could give some pointers in the right direct

    the police are to busy hassling dog lads and innocent people while actively encouraging these arse bandits and tree hugging antis.     All the good lines in the middle east are family bred and dont go on the market full stop. If you are very lucky you may get gifted one but very rarely. Any imports are for Emirates, Saudia .Qatar and Bahrain, for the sheikhs for coursing / racing or thier trips into Asia. they have no affinity or attachment to the hounds and have that much cash they buy in every year same goes for the falcons and horses..

    Salukis and falcons are trained to bring the quarry down alive in order that it can be halaled and then it would be fit for human consumption, the habit of pinning the quarry is natural to the line bred stuff.Deliberately going for the eye is rubbish I have not read it in books or seen documetaries my family are involved in , salukis, bird and horses in Asia in 3 different countries

    Not had a pure saluki no so cant really comment on the dog in topic, just from a more general point of view it would help... Dogs dont grow up with Evil intent no matter what breed (unless they are ill etc) Im not saying that it will fix it but it would deffinatly help the situation as the dog probably attacks now because it may lack confidence being on lead and walking with dogs what are strangers to it would help build the confidence within the dog. incorrect approach mate no disrespect intended the saluki temprement is a lot different than lurchers etc.
