Win some lose some law of averages innit ? I know plenty got Asbo,s banning orders cars confiscated dogs pounded but it does not make it right or just I wouldnt expect anybody to stand and take a kick in the testes without defending it just my opinion. But your not prepared to jump on a Grenade for the rest of the team so why should anyone else? The Race has finished and we never left the traps What a ludicrous statement does not even warrant a comment -

Then why are people prosecuted if it's a piece of piss to get away with? Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of reasons for disliking it. It's absolutely draconian but never forget the original act was drafted and presented by Michael Watson , a Scottish mp who in his spare time was a match fisherman and was later charged with arson of an Edinburgh hotel, That enough should tell you what we are thought of by other field sports Most people cop a plea of tresspass in search off. Only a handfull have been prosecuted under the Hunting Act as usual it boils down to the easy option or lack -

The hunting Act is Bollocks plain and simple a good QC could drive a herd of Elephants right through it. Example A terrier (singular) can be used below ground to flush a fox to waiting guns but the terrier should be a Bayer and not come in contact with the fox under Ground, The fox should be one that is likely to prey on game birds of a shoot.. No more than two dogs can be used to flush a hare to waiting guns for shooting purposes but there is no restriction on the number of dogs that can flush a hare or a fox to a bird of prey. A dog can track a wounded animal that has been shot then when f -

A question has any person ever tried to Contact the Council of Hunting Associations to see their Manifesto or their website ? It would be interesting to know what they do to represent those with Lurchers and sighthounds after All the AWL has a seat at the Council meetings. -

Over 3,800 views and only 142 posts think it shows the apathy or lethargy of most men with dogs. or maybe opinions are best not voiced. -

the three I outlined previously. We know that the "Groups cant be seen to endorse or support any illegal Activity or any Hunting outside those areas permitted under certain constraints within the said Act. However that does not stop discussion and Lobbying of The Government,, Members of Parliament, the COHA AWL or any other representative working dog group from discussing and redressing many of the nomalies even within the present legislation. (1) What are the intentions regarding Repeal or ammendments to the present legislation regarding Coursing a Hare with a Single dog where permi -

Young or old male or female it doesnt matter , right is right the C/A , COHA , AWL etc are deafening and very obtuse in speaking about anything that challenges what is permitted under the Hunting with Dogs Act 2004. Terriers killing fox below ground, single handed Hare coursing , running fox or deer these are all things that need to be discussed and the present legislation challenged bu tif discussion is taboo where do you go for resolution of the anomalies within present legislation ? -

I have coursed within the law and may have coursed outside it. I know which I prefer to do. If the landowner gives permission to run my dogs why should some permed headed tree hugging twat or a Hampstead Heath cowboy in a suit tell me I cant run my dogs? So i will continue to struggle and fight against what is a repressive law and a supression of a basic right without the need to be criminalised -

The losers are folk like yourself afrraid to stand up for what is right why the f**k should folk contribute to an organisation that even you yourself say are not interested you are short in the grey maytter department. I was taught as a kid if you believe in something be prepared to fight for it, not be prepared to let others carry the burden for you if your not prepared to yourself. -

Some sections of hunting activity e.g fox huntin packs and shooting show a lot more unity and support for their choice of sport than most of those claiming to be dog men. Public perceptions and possible support will never be changed or gained when its plain that the majority of those claiming to be dog workers are least interested in protecting or recouping any ground lost to the Antis over the years. The statements like I will carry on no matter what or any changes wont affect me I WILL CARRY ON AS USUAL . I and many others have heard it all before. Many who posted shite all over the nett p -

most people are not comfortable with the idea of killing things for fun. There that is the typical misconception "killing things for fun" If a man can hunt the game of his choice without falling foul of a ill thought out supressive law then it would all be for most hunters putting meat on the table even if you dont want the meat yourself it could be distributed to many of the needy people many of whom cant afford it from one years end to the next. Game gets tossed away because you cannot run the risk of dogs and certain game being in the same field let alone the same vehicle. Are shooters -

A lot of the old hands have carried on no matter what. Lots of us have got a lot more years behind us than we have in front of us , We are from diffent backgrounds ,cultures, era,s even countries but one thing most gehuine dog men have in common is passion for what we do Surely no matter what, the struggle needs to go on right till the end . We may very well be pissing in the wind but just as we all dont want jackers on our slips jackers find excuses to throw in the towel . ATB to all the genuine working/running dog lads what ever they decide to do but the Epitaph on the pages of hunting hi -

The last few posts may WELL be the case things wont change also yes we can all carry on as we are as individuals running hunting poaching whatever. The whole point of the exercise if there is the slightest possibility of any changes or ammendments to The present Hunting with dogs Act we should ensure our voices are heard especially Coursing and running dog lads other wise we will once again be kicked in the Bollocks and be left to our own devices once again dont lads get pissed off being the poor relation or the ones who have no input or voice whatso ever and having a twat like Sturgeon sett
