    Far to busy protecting what the MP,s deamed fit to give limited protection to under a Repressive selective Hunting Act. From past experience folk can see where priorities are and which areas have become become the whipping boys because of the actions of a very small number of bad apples .     I enjoy solitude when working the hounds , what I dont appreciate is when others focus attention on my chosen activities and try to tell me what I can hunt and when and where I can do it.Then want to portray certain activities in a negative light .

    No doubt some one will correct me if I am wrong. Some twelve years ago when the Hunting with Dogs Act was brought into the Arena and using various loopholes and dodges as well as a wartime legislation were used to get it introduced and ratified .It was suggested that those who had fallen foul of this unbalanced legislation bide their time and wait for a change of Government from the Blair regime to a Conservative Government .Well that time came and is still here part of the Government pledge was to allow an open vote on the Repeal of the said Act.     i know farmers and others who will give permission for hare coursing tomorrow if the legislation is changed.However when threatened with fines up tp £5,000 if they are found to be allowing their land to be used for hare coursing.Most farmers/landowners /Gamekeepers are between a rock and a hard place, pressurised by the Police Wildlife Officers, and small groups of toss pots who think its ok to damage property ,vandalise crops and threaten people who dont want them on their land.
