Hi Mustelid, Molly is the litter sister to the big dog. I came down to your place with D.C, I always did look the look of your bitch mate. I'm very surprised that Molly hasn't a decent strike on her as her litter sisters have tremendous prey drive and striking ability.

Totally agree with you there Tomo, I personally believe that A Kelpie, Collie or a cross between the two would make a decent lurcher as long as there off decent working stock. I must admit I do like the look of the kelpie but wouldn't say they were superior to a good collie.

Hi jigsaw, the dog marked, hunted and retrieved really well. His only problem was that he opened up most of the time whilst chasing, even when he caught. At the time I did a lot of poaching and two definitely do not go together. He was a big boy standing about 27 inches and weighing 70 lb. All round he was a decent dog with an excellent temperament, I unfortunately had to re home him as a pet.

I tell you what ,I have a dog out of Eadie and he's just coming up to 2 Year old. So he's bred out of her for at least the last 3 seasons, she can't of done any work for a while.

Hi crackpot, I'm new on here ,so I've only just seen this thread. Is the mother of the pup from a guy in Congleton. Same breeding and she's the spit of a bitch my mate sold. What a great little pack you have there, I bet you'll have loads of sport with it. All the best postie.
