I do mine at 3 to 4 days depending on the size of the pups...use SHARP curved nail scissors with the curve against the leg...dip the scissors in metho between pups....I don't put any thing on the wound ...just let the bitch lick the cut clean but check on them regularly to make sure they're not still bleeding and the wound is healing up with a scab on it the next day...never had any probs with with the above system though did have one cow of a bitch (1st time mum) that wouldn't lick them so we put a little smear of that sticky condensed milk (the stuff in a tube)on the little pups leg and she
  9. Racoons can be really nasty, very dexterous , and a lot of body weight, these little fellas were around 25 lbs mark .
