  1. Not a fecking bit, just don,t quote classic for rodent worthy.
  2. Feck me he did a bit of poaching to feed his family,as is the issue in that country,id hate to be in that situation and feel fecking sorry for the family he,s left behind to fend the best they can.
  3. A few on here could tell you they hunt on Mars and you would take it all in.
  4. I tried to edit my post,so ill try again.Weak hindquarters, weak and shallow chest, weak and narrow jaw, short coupled and weak in the wrist and hock.Classic in the owners eye only. The original Deerhound was a powerful animal, the Greyhound is a powerful animal and a decent Bedlington is a beast in miniature, thus a combination of each should portray, especially from a side vision,a remarkable looking lurcher that many may aspire to own and call classical, that shivery weakling does not portray that fact to me,it may to some.
  5. Classic looks, seriously that is one weak looking hindquarter.Strong arse strong drive, weak arse weak pursuit.
  6. It was for the fecking rabbit to be stuck with a crying whining turd, her dog was not much better.
  7. the folk that have the real need to hunt out of season are few and far between, others need every excuse to hunt in trainers and shorts.the facts are that its easy enough to account for whats on the ground in the recognised season without the need to ruin the following seasons sport.I fully understand the requirement to enter certain ground when the shooting as finished and a few have to hunt accordingly,,again a few, others need all the excuse they can muster to make up for another lazy winter.Im not saying you are one of the feckless feckwits, you don,t come across as such, yet ill warrant you k
  8. The thing is,this was a much missed pet that got itself stuck in a rabbit hole, the owner was obviously made up to find it again, more made up to take the time to take a fecking picture and download it for the feckwits to appreciate and slap the owner on her fat arse and the mutt was a secondary consideration to her greedy ego, imo.
  9. Because some sneaky twat who wishes to diet will hide behind an hedge, bully an old age pensioner and take a cheap shot instead of having the gonads to stand in front of a 19 year old squaddy.
  10. I was at a show at Middleton,Manchester, very early 80,s,Lakeys always won the shows at that time,on this day a lad turned up with two smart black terriers and he walked away with the shield,an awful lot of folk tried to buy these dogs and many, many put their names down for pups,i know because my mate owned them.He had a black terrier, bred from Welsh stock that won many a show.Middleton tried to buy it when he was a Lakey lad,as he said on the day "it was the smartest terrier he,d ever seen and my mate would win less with it as he was not known"fact, another fact was ken Gould attempted to buy t
  11. Organised by the IRA,governed by the IRA and now its a civil action, don,t be so fecking naive,Sinn Fein lawyers are behind all this as they seek to make their cause politically correct. The folk that don,t have a clue could not decipher a sun crossword. Its a case of let us shoot and don,t shoot back, the IRA got their fecking arses smacked that day,it should have become standard army practice and the troubles would have soon become a damp squib in Derry.
  12. The only thing i cannot see beyond is any reason to breed a terrier not fit for purpose,if thats my problem i can live with that.
  13. Again thats the reason i find it pointless,at one time terriers where bred for graft and the ribbon and dollar played no part in that,as the shows took off and especially as the tinternet as kicked in its become a fact that the vast majority of working mutts have been bred for the nuggets on the net and interested in the shows. If a terrier was bred for graft it would not be as popular as the show and name bred terriers the tintenet requires,a grafter is less important for todays owners and thats why the black terrier reigns supreme.
  14. Where they the same innocent people throwing rocks and petrol bombs, then picking up rifles dropped by whom the paras shot. Its a fecking injustice that the folk that are witnesses against the squaddies are the fenian fecking scum that where rioting and attempting to kill the folk that killed them. Its absolutely fecking ironic that many of these witnesses and IRA scum are protected by the same politicians now chasing the troops they sent over there.
  15. Thats my biggest gripe with terriers, the Russel, the Lakey, the Bedlington and a few others lost their working way because to many folk jumped on the bandwagon and sought ribbon and gold,it was far to easy to look for a quick fix in piss poor breeding and take the easiest shortcut to ribbon and fortune. The Black terrier is the prime example of this.In the early 80,s the black terrier was sought more than any other, work ethic had feck all to do with this,it was a show thing over anything work related, the more folk wanted one,the higher the price and the more a few kennels spewed them out for doll
  16. I point you followed, thats called aimless,a little like William Tells sister and the pear,
  17. If you need reminding you are on the wrong site.
  18. if you leave them alone in March there will be far more to hunt when the season opens again, please don,t make the usual excuses.
  19. I gave up on the wife swapping when i was left with a lame donkey, ill never go to Cardiff again.
  20. A few did pal,we all suffer because of the minority, don,t become one of them.Don,t get us going on the racist fecking card, are you a Paki?
  21. I did,nt find it funny, the genuine souls on here did not find it funny,i don,t give a flying feck where a person lives and hunts their charges,i wish i had my time again, plus the wealth,to travel more and hunt accordingly, even with some of my distant and more ignorant pilgrims.Any honest type detests dog thieves,be that here or over there. You mocked in the same way the nuggets over here mocked your mucker and the majority of us here have little affinity to that.
  22. Thats the sort of response that i respect, well said mucker. As you may be aware im a massive Deerhoundy fan yet readily concur that the majority of them are not worth a water dish in a desert,a Saluki would not be my first choice as a teeth dog as well,at times some of them are proficient at the task, its in the better breeding.Ive seen many a good lurcher on non edibles and one of the very, very best was basically Deerhoundy/Collie cross Deerhoundy/Grey/Saluki.He still stands at 28" and weighs 80lb,the same as his sire. The only lads to date that wish to utilise him for a line are all bull lurche
