I watched it and also found it a tad one sided, every time facts were presented about the surge in crime, after caravans and their occupants turned up,some leftie tried to find other reasons for the obvious. As with a few on here i make judgements on what i read and view in the media plus real life experiences.I know fine well the media manipulates opinion and some folk are robotic in support of anything that it portrays, like fecking sheep.I spent a few years associating with travellers, went on the road with them tatty picking, laying the black stuff, scrap dealing and even selling rugs and lino,pl

How tall is a fox?.
-
If you are unsure or don,t know, don,t breed.
-
No the bunny is faster than some think.

Ive witnessed a few hancock pseudo lurchers,i can say in all honesty ive never seen one id feed,as ive only ever seen a very small percentage of his and her stock then that may not hold much sway as im certain that they must have produced the odd diamond, law of averages.Im the Beddy,s gobshite on here and will vouch for everything they offer,id still rather own a Collie based lurcher.
-
Thats possibly the most inaccurate post ive read on here,if you do not know about something don,t go to the trouble of making a cock out of yourself mucker. The Bedlington was bred in FOX country to work the fecking things,if it went in rocks its was worked accordingly,if it ventured into an old rabbit warren it was worked accordingly and any other haunt the fox sought refuge the terrier was expected to work. The Bedlington was not fecking bred in the shires, they had their own type terriers to work that part of the country. The Bedlington gained its niche amongst Lakelands,Fells and Borders, plus

The wooly coat is more likely to be attributed to the Saluki,i cannot see what Beddy in the mix would offer to a coursing type.

Don,t panic,a few weeks wait won,t do the pup much harm.

It makes the catch so much sweeter.

Im not taking you out for a meal,a drink and a little romance so stop asking.

Flying rats and walking rats,a few years ago my next door neighbour set herself up as a rescue centre and she had a garden full of animals and birds.I was besieged by fecking rats, they burrowed under the terrier pens and the mutts became mental attempting to get to them.I had traps set and poison stations, the poison stations i tossed over her fence may have attributed to her moving back down south, the Lakey that mullered her Eagle, after it nipped through the fence in the pursuit of a rodent, may have also made her mind up.The fecking pigeons she fed every day, about 40,still hung about years aft

I don,t mind somebody like you correcting me.Posts need to be read in context and digested.Again many on here will have done far more than i ever did and thats a fact, many that have done less than me will know more and have better dogs and thats a fact that im also comfortable with.I loved to see a decent lurcher at its best, often the best ive witnessed i did not own, made no fecking difference to me because i loved to be in the company of such a mutt and i treasure every memory of each and every occasion, believe me there where many an occasion. So even a small Tope in a big pond will learn me a

As you may l be aware im possibly the Bedlingtons biggest fan,ive never owned a Beddy lurcher that did not make me smile, sadly i lost my smile when i stepped up the chase and the Deerhoundy took me to a level i often wish id not wished for.I took far more pleasure from what the smaller lurchers gave me,i could not live with what they lacked, for a few years. My loss.

That hole must be far to deep to get out of now, give me the shovel back.
-
I loved the Beddy/Whippets ive owned, the Beddy/Grey was certainly far more durable and worked to an higher standard.I still had that affinity for the Whippety bred uns, they gave far more pleasure. The pleasure factor seems lost now.

Possibly the nugget who posted he ran a dog a week ago then posted a little later asking who ran a dog a week ago.
-
The fecking chancer wants his balls broken,as does every fecking nugget that cannot,or will not, stock train a mutt and nearly as bad is the fact that some lurcher owners find it acceptable to run amidst mutton regardless and scatter lambs with the same feckless attitude.Im possibly from a different generation and how i appreciate that fact the more i get accustomed to the "new lurcher owners".
-
It makes little difference how bomb proof a small percentage of dogs are, especially when lambs are in the fields, ask your best friend to explain that fact to you,it does not need explaining to me.
-
Is that the best you can do?.Read what they have posted, they run their mutts through land and sheep, some of the dogs they do not trust.Im glad i live in a different greenhouse to many on here.
-
Im in the same scenario, understand, ive hunted in sheep country all my life, would i hunt at the expense of the farmer?,especially with heavily pregnant ewes and lambs on the turf,no i would not, would you?.Lets get back to the fact that some fecking wankers find it acceptable to run a dog they would not trust amidst mutton, would you?
-
The simples bit i understand.
-
I cannot possibly train a lurcher to run where i want it to,i cannot train one,in full flight,to come back, only on occasions.I can train one not to run in lambing season because im the fecking genius that keeps them on a leash at that time of year.
-
Sheep farmers are possibly the poorest farmers in the country, thats in the UK,far, far different to NZ.Every sheep injured, killed or injured by a pricks untrained lurcher,or any other mongrel,is a loss they cannot afford, every lamb aborted because a prick wants a little T-shirt hunting,is a loss they cannot afford.I despise with every fibre in my body the feckless wankers that cannot control their slips or train a fecking mongrel before they let it off a leash,if that keeps me at odds with many on here then i know for a fecking fact the art of lurcher ownership is on a downward spiral.
-
Until he hits the sherbet and takes advice from folk i despise he often owns many a valid point.

Ill lend you a spade you thick cnut.
