And a sword behind every doorI am originally from a sleepy hamlet in Lanarkshire called Larkhall.........if you know it, you will know why I do indeed have a blade taped under my bed. No sword behind the door, that can be misunderstood, Just a 5 ft long ash staff with a sharpened steel ferrule on the end.....a 'walking stick'. Very large flat bladed screwdriver in car door pocket......in case of 'breakdown'. You cant be too careful, but you have to be able to justify it! Might be a bit ott I will grant you, but, its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.... Guy in

Too much to lose these days, licences, house, weans, permissions etc etc I tend to stay away from bother these days.....not worth it.... BUT if someone came into the house.....then it would be bets off....for those of you who fancy it, there is a skinning knife taped under my side of the bed, first intruder in will be standing in a pool of intestines.... Told one of my mates about it and he was appalled, until the rest of

I use a safety razor with razor blades these days, wee bit easier than a straight razor and just as cheap, hundred blades cost between £8 and a tencer. You need a decent brush and shaving soap, but it shaves you nice and close.....just dint 'bounce' it off your face and mind yer fingers changing the blades......also you can do yer napper as well......well, I do....
