Well i think the 22-250 is a brilliant fox calibre but.....in this case if you want to be plinking long range rabbits aswell as foxes i think the 223 is maybe a better choice. The .223 wont mess up the rabbits as much as the 22-250 would and it is cheaper ammo (and more bullet weight choice). I would stay away from saying you want a .17 hmr for foxes, its a brilliant round but not enough for foxes in the eye of the law. The police will much rather give you a centerfire for foxes to get the job done properly rather than a .17hmr which may leave them wounded.
Alright there,
Im trying to decide on a new scope for my 22/250, The choice is between a 2.5-10x56 schmidt and bender or a zeiss victory divari 3-12x56
both near enough the same sort of cash, would like to hear some of you thoughts and advie please.
ALSO IM NEW TO THE SITE SO BIG HELLO TO YOU ALL!
CHEERS
hello mate,
You cant go wrong with a CZ, for there looks and performance they are pretty cheap. I would stay away form BSA scopes if it was me, just because you will get a better scope from hawke for not much more money, hope this helped.
