    done 2 days since last year. only the very easy sets to show willing to the land owner and get the pup started. he did very well and looks promising! so roll on the season. as soon as some of this cover dies down ill be out, at the moment the nettels are about 4ft high and thick cover so ill just wait.

    nice deep grass cow fields for me. only decent place i got to run my dog anyway.

    never had a drink for 6+ years, not even on special occasions. used to get hammerd every weekend now just carnt be arsed with it. waste of money, waste of time, dont like the taste and never have. feeling rough the next day is just a wasted day to me. dont care if i never have a drink again.

    happens to me all the time. fooking dog hit a rock last time out instead of the bunny sat 2 yards infront of it. thank god it was smooth and flat. mostly day time i have my lot out and there up and down the hedge rows and im always the one who stands on a sitter while the dogs are 20 yards away.

    dosent have to be in there mate, just the thing that broke the skin. im sure it dident and everything will be perfectly fine. just keep an eye onit. if he seems to get alittle worse before he starts to get better then ide start to be concern`d.

    could the rabbit of stuck a tooth into its shoulder? the little lump being a puncture wound? it probably just bruised it and i wouldn't worry to much but if by some freak chance a tooth broke the skin watch for infection.

    1)in the copies of the LF striker, whats the reflector like? do they throw the beam as well and a nice tight spot? has anyone put a copy side by side with a striker? not fussed about wiring as thats an easy fix, its the reflector that makes a lamp. 2)has anyone replaced the 100w bulb with a 50w? was the difference enough to make it a waste of time getting a striker? i have a clulight laserlight which is ok for what i do but ide like a striker. my laserlight only uses a 50w bulb. will the larger reflector in a striker or copy give me a better beam if i was to use the same size bulb?

    i use a 10AH lithium with a clulight lazerlight. never gone flat yet, no problem with it as yet and recharges afer a couple of hours lamping in around 45mins to an hour normally.

    i do the same mate with my saluki x pup. with the other dogs she is great as soon as she is on her own she is really quiet. your best off not worrying or making a big deal about it just let her grow up and the confidence will improve with age. mine has improved a great deal now she is 9 months old. she wouldn't even come out the front door of the house when she was 3 to 4 months old. the pup will learn from the older dogs about things. if the older dogs arnt scared by things then the pup will learn not to be. my pup would run 3 fields to get away from cows she was petrified. now after

    just found this thread. was a pleasure to take you out mate. we had a nice day at it and the lad did well. he been pestering his mam for a dog and ferrets yet? lol like i said on the day mate, we just done a little bit of each thing we could to show you the basics of each. when the season comes in we will take you out for a full day with the ferrets and a bit of decent graft lol, wet, cold and long days but its all good! im glad you both had a good day and enjoyed it.

    why do you want to cover it? mine has been plain ply wood for 2 years no problems at all. if it ever rots ill make a new one but i carnt see it rotting as it gets dried out when i hang it up after a days ferreting in the rain.
