  1. 30 seconds for a bull x was a bit shoddy i suppose. LOL Anyhow having thought about it and had various opinions off you folks I think I'll go and knock on the door tomorrow and show a bit of compassion. Dont get me wrong I hate cats, but with her only living around the corner from me and very local to where I walk my dogs on a daily basis I could do without the hassle and of course being branded as a yob who hunts things with his dogs and doesn't give a s#it. I expect to get a mouth full but at least I tried. I'm pretty sure there wont be any vets bill to sort out as the old tom cat
  2. Oops. She came out and was playing hell. Did what I could to get em off. 1st question where do I stand legally and what should I do morally?? Both dogs and cat were in a field with a footpath. Pretty sure cat was a write off. Cheers
  3. Question for you folks please!? Just been out walking my 2 lurchers and 2 terriers on their usual dinner time walk! Usual footpath in fields behind my house All of a sudden my dogs set off after what I thought was a squirrel at first. Then realised it was a cat. They caught up to it and I ran over to try and get em off but my bull x was shaking the life out of it. Anyhow this was all in about 30 seconds. I managed to get em off but the cat was wrecked and the woman from the house next to the field cane
  4. I've shot quite a few fox with my .22lr when out and about over the years. My preference is CCI Stinger for my .22. Both Head and boiler room shots. They Drop like a stone. But within a reasonable range. Atb
  5. I've tried all sorts of different makes for my 4 dogs. Ended up back on Skinners Field and Trial. They don't eat tonnes of the stuff to fill their bellys and most importantly they dont shit them selves to death.
  6. Cheer mate. Shes 23ish TTS, 1st Cross SalGrey over a 1st cross BullGrey. Weighs about 26-27kg.

  9. Cheers guys. Shes about 23TTS. She seems to have plenty of fire In the tank when out and about. More than happy with her.
  10. Evening folks. Just thought I'd share a few pics of by bitch. Got her at about 3.5 month old. She now just over 17 months old and doing really well for me. More than happy with how she's turned out. Opinions welcome be it good or bad. Thanks Cheers
  11. Evening Folks, Been taking my 2 year old lad out wi dogs on a few daytime mooches with me for a little while now and he loves every minute of it. Infact I think its great getting them into the same stuff. He's seen them take a few bunnies and tree rats and the smile on his face says it all... Just hope he continues enjoying it as he gets older.... Who else involves their young ones in the sport and from what age do they come out with you? Just a thought...... Cheers. Pic from today of him with my 2 dogs.
  12. Tell you what. I was very dubious about that manuka honey, when the vet recommended it on a rip very similar to that on you're dog fella... It healed rapid with no stitches. .. would recommend trying it and make your own mind up! Atb
  13. Cheers mate. Not done too much yet. Mainly mooching with my other dogs. Been holding her back quite a lot because she's taken a long time to mature. showing Very good prey drive though. Cheers
  14. Couple more pics of my bitch. She's just gone 14 months. Only made about 22.5-23" tts. Solid,, But still got some good speed when she is on the chase... Cheers

  16. My bitch coming up 12 months in a couple of weeks. She's not done much serious stuff yet really but showing very good promise for the future. .. I don't want to spoil her by being too impatient. . She's quite head strong I know that much... Atb
  17. My jack Russell suddenly developed a huge lump on its face. Turned out to be a sting.... disappeared within couple of days...
  18. I've just had em off my 3yr old bitch. Kept catching and breaking em so enough was enough. Taken a while to heal. About 3 weeks, got a bit infected. But with antibiotics all cleared up now..... long term dogs much better off.... Atb
  19. Superb pics. That dog certainly doesn't mind getting wet. Bit of snorkeling too. Lol
  20. do you use that vet all the time mate had his dogs dewclaws off and a few stiches on a cut £135 big difference to £260 i think the point is, if whoever bred that litter had taken the trouble to remove them. then there would have been no cost at all The old fella who bred the litter did try and remove dew claws. Some had em and some didn't. The old guy was in his 80's and not got the best sight. So he said..
