    Sporting shooter...Top bloke! Just a couple of questions, The bit about "firearms in my possession at time of this application". Does this include shotguns? AND The land I have permission on will probably have to be inspected. Will the FAO want me, or the owner to show him each individual piece of land? Cheers.....

    Just filling out my FAC (first grant). I'm going to apply for .17HMR for "vermin control" and either a 22-250 or .223 for "fox". I've just been round to two of my permissions and got the owners/farmers to sign a permission form downloaded from BASC! (became a member today). They total roughly 1000 acres. Just average ariable farmland. There is also two small holdings roughly 20 acres each. There is already a couple of shooters on one farm but they havent been there for ages and the farmer insists on a text to confirm each outing to avoid two shooters on at the same time. Wether this w

    Great help, managed to get the glue off by standing him in warm water for 10 mins then pulled it off! Just a lump of glue stuck to hair in between toes rubbed the other side sore. Thanking you all

    Lots of people on here have bull xs but I bet 90% don't put charlies in front of them night after night. Probably bump into a couple a week, therefore I think the collie/grey would be a much more useful dog in general.

    Got home from a hard nights graft for my dog, and found a broken nail. It was split in 3 directions.Could see the quick.. and so I thought to save him caching the splits ends on carpet and such I would cover the nail in super glue to hold it all together and stop it getting worse. 2 days later he is limping and on closer inspection the glue and split nail has obviously gone solid and is rubbing between his toes and making it sore. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the glue needs to be removed, cream applied to the sore, and toe and nail bandaged....? Only trouble is removing the glue

    I was told this today that rspca had taken a blokes lurcher because it had signs that it had taken fox? He let them into his house they said he would maybe go to court or just have the dog reholmed?? He chose to have the dog rehomed is this realy how they work?Has anyone else had this happened, I said they have had his pants down ,,bullied him with fear of courts I would never, ever, even consider handing my dog over to anyone. Shame on the fella if it is true............

    I've recently been handed a Webley Axsor pcp .22 bolt action air rifle and the matching hand pump. Its been kept out of a case, in a shed for a few years and has developed light rust spots on the barrel and has a few light scratches on the stock. The o ring seals on the filling probe were shot so I replaced them and managed to get 100 bar in it before I nearly passed out, and fired a pellet. There is a small dent in the pump which means it wont go all the way up, you can use about 2/3rds of the pump if you know what I mean..... Any ideas what its worth? Are they good guns? Anyone interest

    Just sat here watching "Yukon men" on Discovery, trapping for fur. There all wearing real fur gear while hunting... Anyone made anything with rabbit or fox pelts? id be interested in having ago if its possible and with some advice...........Might not wear it thou
