  1. Smack him between the eyes as he went for you first Also if you do get him, and the old bill get involved find out his name and shout it from the rooftop.
  2. Depends on what colour filter, but even with the red its more than enough for the range of the .22 (for me anyway!) Its a LEDRAY 800 (I think) rechargeable with a dimmer, cost enough!
  3. 452 Silhouette synthetic 16inch. This one has the new synthetic stock, slightly soft rubbery feel opposed to hard plastic feel if that makes sense.....
  4. Sounds like it would be best put to sleep. Or it might end up on the news.....
  5. My grandad used a trip wire on his shed door and on his gate, Clear fishing line attached to a rape alarm... They are cheap, and f**king loud, like hurt your ears loud. So easy and so effective.
  6. Think that's obvious, don't you think? Yes, but you are "generalising" smaller dogs ability to turn better because of a lower centre of gravity. Which is bollocks........
  7. You cant generalise every dogs ability by how many inches its got under its shoulder. But if deer is your game then generally you would want a bigger dog. "Want" being the key word not "need". F**k all that centre of gravity sh*t.
  8. Love the truck setups y'all use. Is there a cable you pull to open the cages in the back or what. Keep them coming!
  9. Hypocrites. Why you would want to save vermin species and wish death on humans is beyond me..... They really must not have anything better to do......Sad really.
  10. Nope. I just remembered another thing he used to do was, whenever he was injured or took a bad knock he would hide up out of sight. Went everywhere with my uncle. Didn't like the cold though! He used to jump on my lap when we was fishing on the beach mid winter, or used to sleep in the truck. Good times
  11. My uncle had two first xs a dog and a bitch. The bitch was re-homed to his mate as a pet, because she was a yapper. The dog was and still is his best mate, about 12 years old. Its the hardest little dog I've been around. Lives to kill, not interested in attention or anything other than killing. Jet black wirery haired racy thing. He has killed everything from rats, ducks, cats, rabbits, hares and foxes. He killed about 50 foxes in his time. Well past it now, looks like a fat old collie. One man dog. Tough as f**k.
  12. If I was caught, I'd take a couple of slaps like a man. (if I couldn't talk my way out) . If my dog was shot, I would make the man regret it. Proper regret it. For years. The only way I would let someone off such a thing, would be if my dog was chasing stock....
  13. Just got out for a few runs, bagged 5 out of 7. Good night for it dog did well. Just started raining, back home a 7.30
  14. Nice pup kranky, how tall do you think he will make? any pics of the big dog?
  15. Ha ha ha that's such a good description of what it's like at the mo, where abouts r u from mate ? Far south east, but willing to travel reasonable distance for the right pup.
  16. I have pm'ed a couple of people on here but no luck as of yet, Absolutely nothing wrong with a broken coat.....Got one here! Just preference, but that would soon change if the right litter was all scruffbags
  17. I have been looking for a nice pup for a few months now, on all the usual websites, and found nothing but shit. Plenty of ball wipit grayhunds. Whatever they are?...... Plenty of lovely lurcher pups, mums a staffie dads a whippet x lab........ Boys and girls... There is also a lot of young dogs with there heads being pulled off standing in mud next to a pair of air max 90's for £350.... I have asked a good mate to let me know of any which suit my needs. But still nothing, no major rush but be good to get one soon to start a few early runs next season at a year old or so........
