    ive got 2 lurchers a german shepherd and a lab cross which wouldnt kill a thing but if anything gets up in front of them they chase even in the woods it happens dogs hunt,enjoyed that.

    25 years ago i ran a 3/4 greyhound bearded collie the best alrounder ive ever owned,retired her at 9 yrs old would love another but never see them advertised,great dogs strong built dogs that take the knocks when running on hard ground also great ferreting dogs up north yorkshire,great looking dogs lads,good thread,john.

    keep asking questions the more you know the better,a lot of people just go and buy one and then the problems start,so anything yu want to know just ask,theres a few dvds on ebay might give you an idea theres also the bird of prey management series which covers feeding,anatomy training weight management it worth a look cheers john.

    you need a mentor mate someone to show you how to manage a hawk and how to set your mews up start by reading as many books as possible,dont just go out and get a hawk unless you know what you are doing,if your friends could help you out and show you the ropes,and as for free lofting i only free loft when they are manned down or moulting,i aslo bow out with bath when ive been out hunting,good luck.

    Coming on well, the little red dod looks usefull. shes 6 years old and never stops shes more interested in long ears than rabbits,and for a little bitch shes got some stamina. She's doing well at 6 how much whippet in her hows she bred etc?she'l be good to bring your pup on with eh shes greyhound x whippet xwhippet,shes a cracking little dog,can be a bit hard mouthed at times depends what she catches,but good for bringing the pup on,cheers john.

    Sorry to be adding these pictures again but i added them to the wrong thread.....not quite sure how i ended up with 2 threads on him but anyway. I'm going to just keep this one going now. Fin 6 month old and 24 1/2 to the shoulder.
