  3. nice dog simmmo,,got mine today,,not house trained or lead trained and he`s very shy,,got my work cut out.. Mine was a bit shy to start Scotty, soon came round though. Look forward to some pics mate. Simmo
  4. Here's mine mate, three year old dog.
  5. Here's mine. He's about 19 weeks old now. These photo's taken a few weeks ago. Been a joy to train so far, looking forward to next season to bring him on. Simmo.
  6. Feed my pups 3 times a day,raw meat and bones for two and a tripe and meat mix for the third. Mix chopped veg in about twice a week for them to. Try cabbage as well as carrot, there is alot of sugar content in just carrot so I have been told. Swear by the BARF diet.
  7. Recently got a saluki/grey x bull/grey dog pup sorted by a couple of lads off this site. Got a mate who is after a dog pup of the same breed. If anyone knows of any litters you can PM myself or the lad himself. malpaso on this site. Cheers Simmo.
  8. Been a bit quiet this year, just the 5 so far, weathers been to mild so their not so desperate for food. Got 3 of these out at the moment usually get 10 or 12 a year. Bring on the cold snap i say.
  9. A few photos of the type of trap I use. Hope they help if anyone is thinking of making one. Found it an effective set up. Simmo.

  15. Got all mine on BARF, have done for years. Some good posts for advice in the working dog health section on this forum.
  16. Just got back in now. Out for an hour or so and got 8 fom about 14 runs so we were happy . Its belting down in our area at the moment dont think the ground can hold much more of it.
  17. Well done lads. Was out yesterday trying some cracking earths, nothing to ground. Put two out of cover though. Only got the one, the other made good his escape until another day. Got piss wet through to.

    Foxes

    We never really let our dogs near fox until around 18 months old.They may look developed but whats between their ears usually is'nt until at least that age. They will see other dogs killing fox at night but are held back on their slip. Enter them when their ready on their own.
  22. The same goes for all working dogs mate, keep a dry, draft free kennels and you cant go wrong with any breed. Merry Christmas everyone.
