hi unknown, you say you fished "maben" may i ask what you have had out of the water, and how long ago did you used to fish on their, as i may know you. The boats on there which were for hire were mine, and i was the baillif on there for quite some time... could tell you alot about the place what very few people knew, thats if you like...Atb Russ

Its not a shame, it had a long and famous life...it was hooked more times than the local smack head, its a wonder it survived till now. A human fed boily muncher, which brought satisfaction to folk who like to fished for a named fish....A shame is when a very big fish that goes unnoticed all its life and dies with out getting the recognition it deserved. Like the many many big fish in loches and loughs around the british isles... Fishing made easy, for the TOP anglers of the country. Who all drive to the same place, and all fish for the same fish..... 20+mile long waters all the way is

Trust me matey i have PLENTY of experience :kiss: I'm sure you have mate..... just pointing out the hypocracy(probably spelt wrong) on this site..... someone posted ages ago, this guy posts a contradiction, you've posted before he posted then you agree with him!!! Maybe just me but why didn't you contradict the guy yourself and make yourself look like you know a wee bit???
