We all have different ideas of what a lurcher is mate, for me if it doesn't hunt then it's not deserving of the title lurcher. how many on here could get their dogs to work nets mark holes and hunt up, times have changed and so have the people most couldnt train a dog
-
would you

i always wanted a collie greyhound but my type of hunting is point and fire and like a dog that thinks it can catch every thing, ive seen alot of collie blooded dogs pick and choose what to run so the bull x is for me

LL-The big dogs are staghounds [uSA} roughly 27"ats 80lbs bred for coyotes. Terrier is a lakie hello stuntman you said the foxes were harder to catch than a coyote i wonder how they compare to our foxes

i am sure we have just as good and just as game dogs capable of dealing with 25-40lb coyote over here a good dogs a good dog no matter how its bred Based on what ? What is your litmus test for asserting this ? Not for nothing ,but after having hunted them for over 25 years in all forms and fashion...they are a creature unto themselves.I'm not bashing what you guys do. I'd love to come over watch a British patt. go to ground or go ferreting. But come on, the US is a big country with alot of diversity even with-in the same genus.A coyote here in Oklahoma is not the same coyote in Montan
