    I was in the same position as u pal.. Had charlie in the house all day on his own nd i felt sorry for him being bored on his own, so i got a bitch pup and i'm really glad i got her! Like the other lads said, if the money isnt an issue and you have got plenty of work for both dogs then i would get the pup if i was u

    and you think locks will stop the c--ts in your dreams R u a bit simple in the head or somthin...? A few really good locks and an alarm is enough to detare any horrible little scumbag who feels like robbin ur dogs! Cuz lets face it.. They will want to be in and out as quick as possible so they aint gonna stand there with the risk of makin loads of noise tryin to cut loads of locks off, nd then they will hav to deal with the alam goin off if the do manage to get past the locks, by this time u will be stood behind um with a big iron bar ready to break their thievin hands!

    It's not just how u bring the dog up.. The kids also need to be taught how to handle the dogs and to respect it's space because in my experience it's the kids who aggravate the dogs by pulling it's tail etc who get snapped at... I trust my bull x 110% with kids

    To answer some questions.. Charlie is good with the pup, it sleeps with him and he is always playin with it. I have tried splitting them up and put the pup in the kitchen why Charlie is eating but he still dumps it on the floor. Also Charlie is always the first to the door when I get home so gets a stroke and fussed over long before the pup even knows I'm there, so that's why I find it a bit strange because he gets just as much attention as before

    I got a pup last week and since getting it my older lurcher dont seem to be eating like he used to and mopes about quite a lot... when he gets fed he also eats a bit then chews some more up and spits it on the floor nd dont eat the rest.. well doin my head in because i have to keep cleanin all his food up before the pup gets to it.. any ideas whats wrong wi him, cheers in advance, matt
