in my ferrets court I have an.... old tire, old chicken feed bag with extra holes in, pipes, more pipes, logs, old bucket and hay for them to play with. they love it especially the younger ones.
Im very interested mate, however would need it posted ..I would pay extra to cover post cost. pm me if your prepared to post it n hopefully we can sort something out!
You beat me to that one mate.Jills do not NEED to be taken out of season.
I prefer jills.
I disagree from what i've herd the build up oestrogen leads to bone marrow suppression, pancytopenia and eventual death. -
so i dont risk it and run my three jills with a visectomised hob
Went yesterday evening in the end for a quick session
foungd a small set in a hedge
must have started in the semi dark lol 8.30 ish
wouldnt reccomend it rabbits still bolted but seeing were the ferret was when i came out the holes was a nighmare even with a torch
however still got 3 rabbits and quited whilts we were ahead just got the fealing that the next time i put the ferret down it would be too dark to see were she came out especcialy as she didnt have a locater or anything on
risky and not as enjoyable but still had a right good time
Hi
I was wondering if any people ferreted in the evening after work or what not
I think most people dont but does it make a difference?
less rabbits in the burrows perhaps?!
was thinking of trying it.

Are any of them still for sale mate?
If so i would be very inerested in a 15 ft working order one.
only problems is that im down in devon like but would pay extra for postage
I have a 10 week old pole cat hob called badger,
just wonduring what the minuminm age or recomended age is to get him done (visectomised not castrated) so that then he'll bring my jill out'a season.
also im gessing its about £55-£70?
im new to ferret keeping so need some help!
it takes time when ther young but when there 6 months they should learn that when they think about turning there head there gunna get a good scruffing a flick on the nose, also a young kit just nips n bites out curiosity its only bad if you have a teasy adult that properly grabs hold to the bone (especialluy on fingers) hopwever its just the nature of the creatures you'll perservere im sure
