forsale LIGHTFORCE LAMP lancer kit
proper22 replied to rabbitrunner's topic in Optics and Night Vision
dayaam i would have bought that -
1) just get a normal sized jill( wil seem tiny compared to your hobs) make sure shes frm a good working line... 2)right if you dont ever ever ever want kits then get the jill spayed.... However if you think you may want kits on the future then you can get one of your hobs visectomised (once done there sometimes known as a 'hoblet'), they basiclly block up his testi tube this means that he cant pregnate her but still has the smell and hormones of a full hob that make him mount her etc... this is what brings her out of season. so visectomisation is also a good option if you have more th

I'd say do it on size and there maturity not really set age although age is linked to these things. If there big enough (which yours I would say are) and aren't mega playful then YES start them on small buries. But if they always fanny about eg: jump and skip when out the hutch then its best to wait a bit for them to grow up ....... for example mate i've got two sisters from this year one of them was bigger as she was more dominant and more fiesty so i stated working her earlier and shes coming on nicely.. atb with them mate Ben

if its bigger than a single then i'll have it mate

MK3's simpler i'd recomend it for beginners only bad thing is the price

I started working one of my jills from this years litter at 16 weeks(4 month) however i left her sister to start later on.. this was becuase she was smaller and lower in the pecking order and showed less fiestyness in her behavior so i didnt think she was quit old enough and up to starting just yet,, so i'd say it depends on the size and confidence-sort of thing of your ferret. ... also only start em on small warrens and what coneytarpper said was spot on you on only see there proper potential in there second season .. there first season shoud be about giving them as much experience a sposs

Hell of a set up chap that'l keep em in good fitness , always like to see people give there ferrets suficaint space rather than just cramped and bored in small rabbit hutches.

Dont just get any ferret trust me they all work but some are a lot better than others. You want to get one from a good working line its best iof you no the mum ferret and have been out ferreting with her and seen what shes like, also i wouldn't go for a small jill you want a well biult medium size one. I also think that personality of the ferret is something that's important (they have to have a harsh side in them that means they wont take shit from a rabbit). however when you pick your young kit you don't know how there gonna turn out personalty wise( marking wise and general body proportions

Does anyone have this type or is it to bulky like teh picture would suggest. what do you 'exprerienced lot' think of this collar worth buying or shall i stick to a leather one of ebay for £59.99?.. << hint hint if you have any for sale seperate then pm me

yeah it clamps on anddraws blood but as i said in the post i want to sort it before it gets even bigger teath/ stronger jaw also it isn't playing he plays with the two other kits (jills) in a 5ft by 10ft court its an aggressive bite not the type they do when you pick them up when they've been playing coz i agree the playful nips aint worth a shit but a proper biteby the viens on the wrist where i have to prize his jaws open with my finger by the viens on the wrist draws blood and is definatly worth a shi, and seeing as hes only young he'll do more damage when hes older. -

I have a 15 week old pole cat hob he's being a little bugger at the moment , whenever you pick him up he doesn't bite you straight away but he just turns his head and try s to grab hold of my wrist( i mean like properly grabs hold not letting go type of bite, not nipping only my jills do that) , he doesn't bite fingers or anything just has a paticalar liking to wrists especially if he can see them as in wearing a t-shirt., which is bad seeing as quite a few veins n that are in the wrist. he's oly 15 wks and hes only gonna get stronger and get bigger teeth so i need to sort it out now. an
