    Deer were always my thing pre ban and i've hunted them in almost every county... And to my knowledge only two counties offer all six within a few miles of each other .. my best in one session is 3 species and i've done it with one dog a fair few times. I've had my chances to take 4 but something always stopped it from happening..

    I understand that Matt but is there a specific law saying the poisoning of moles is illegal ? Because as has already been said isn't gassing poisoning them ? Once again I will say I'm in no way in favour of poison even a rat deserves better and the gassing of moles should be stopped imo...... My argument here is someone jumping straight in and proclaiming something is or isn't illegal without knowing 100% either way..... As the saying goes a little knowledge is a dangerous thing....

    Just wondering is it illegal to poison a mole if so when was the law passed ? As strychnine was never banned just taken from sale over here.....

    Off eBay plenty to choose from.... I got all the horror story's buy shite buy twice and all that but up to now they've been good as gold see how they fare after a few months underground but I'm guessing they will be fine..

    I purchased a batch of talpex copies last week just to give them a go really....... They have earned more than there keep already and I've noticed no diffrence at all with their catch rate compared to that of the real thing.... But at £3 a trap they are easier on the pocket.

    It's ok not marking traps on small jobs but on big hill farms it's not an option imo...... I mark mine and still loose a dozen or so every season due to memory or lack of it lol....

    Cracking pup davey tbh she would of been my pick of litter but I didn't think I had the time for another running dog so didn't take one...... That was untill Logan off loaded the red dog pup on me lol..... I've had all my adult life with this family/line of dogs and trust me you will be glad you hung on to her in the long run....

    Why lie about your age and mislead people? I know men who have lost fowl to this family one genaration to the next they never change...... I think people just need reminding from time to time these people can't be trusted....
