Can't beat a "GOOD" saluki based lurcher IMO. They have no limitations can kill off a long slip in the day or do a full night on the beam

Christ thats a rabbit every 1 min and 45 secs!! now thats some lurcher keeping that up for 2 hours!!! good on ya! I did say Lurchers We had 3 dogs running that night we took 21 off the first field we walked in We took 216 from that farm in 3 visits

That was a saying about terriers not longdogs and even with terriers its not really true. Some quarry, cannot be taken by small dogs, period. It doesn't matter how much fight they have, there is no substitute for size, weight and strength. there is no substitute for size, weight and strength. there is it's called brains I like a dog with brains but they won't help your dog much in some situations

Was out on a fox drive today and had one weighing 20 3/4 lb was a big old boy

I have always got the pop riveted ones and had no trouble with them. Had my oldest ones 4 seasons and they are still as good as new apart from being a bit muddy The only thing i would say is the brass couples are soft and rub through after a season or so Could do with some steel short couples.
